I think all exercise has it's mental side like that coxy.  So often, you have to really push yourself to get up and out but it's worth it afterwards! 😊

My meals, especially lunches., can be incredibly samey ruby. What matters is that you enjoy them. I love my leftovers. It appeals to the mse in me but also means they're all prepped the day before and just takes a few minutes to reheat.

I called into Tesco today as I had a dental appointment nearby. We do have a Morrisons denise but it's probably the furthest away supermarket so don't get there often. I do take advantage when I'm over that way though, like the pork offer a couple of weeks ago. Now I know they do wine stock pots I'll look out for them. I bought stock pots, instant potato for KFC and tagliatelle as it's really good value and DH prefers it to spaghetti .

Do you do the Hunter's Chicken in the SC denise, klew? We had chicken in bacon on Monday and, although tasty, it was a bit dry so something with a sauce would be a nice change. 🤔

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, raspberries (S)
    L- bubble & squeak (F,S), fried egg (P), pickles (S)
D- baked salmon (P), mini roasts (F), carrots, green bits, mushrooms, tomato (S)
    Syns- 0

maman I meant to say that the Morrison's wine stockpots are cheaper than Tesco's as well!  90p in Morries and £1.30 in Tesco's!  Very MSE!

I've only ever done the Hunter's chicken in the oven as DH isn't keen on stuff cooked in the SC, I only use the SC for batch cooking things like savoury mince and red cabbage.  There are actually a couple of Hunter's chicken recipes on the SW website - haven't tried them but will do at some time.  One doesn't really seem like the real thing as there's no cheese in it (which of course makes it Free so handy if you haven't got a spare HEA); the other uses low fat mozzarella as the HEA.

It looks fantastic bubbs.😋 I'm sure you must have different suppliers up your way. We just have scraps in our Farmfoods. But I keep looking and hoping. 😉
That's a really good price for the Morrison's stock pots denise. Definitely worth a trip next time I need some. 🤔 I only use my SC for batch cooking too. I'll look for a proper recipe to adapt and it's much easier now with the 2nd HEA. Best change to SW for years. 😊

Morning all.  Weather is really cold again this morning.  No washing today but just as well as DH is smoking a side of salmon this morning which should be ready by mid afternoon so will definitely be sampling some this afternoon when he's slicing it up ready for the freezer.  Will probably keep some out to snack on over the weekend while we're away!

After my horrendously synful week I'm pleased to say I'm only 0.6lb over top end of target.  Thankfully it's a new week and syn bank from today!

    Today's plan:

B - breakfast hash with eggs - bacon, peppers, tomatoes, tinned potatoes, mushrooms, eggs - P; S; F
    L - tuna mayo and cucumber sandwich - HEB; P; S; 0.5
    D - spicy cottage pie, veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - LTL mayo 0.5

    Have a good day.

    Good morning all,

Woken with a headache this morning, likened to a hangover (no booze consumed) so I have a big bottle of NAS flavoured water with to bosh before my meeting.

I enjoyed the hunters chicken, I think I could be more liberal with the seasoning next time but it was a nice change. I just did it in the oven. Literally whacked it in after the dog walk, I added some chopped peppers into the mix but didn’t blend them at the end. I also think I would probably whack it in the oven before the dog walk to really give it a slower cook. I only did the 2 breasts instead of four but made more sauce.

    B – granola ss milk

L – chicken and sweetcorn soup

D – LO hunters chicken sauce with BP and cheese. Plus veg.

    Morning all,
Shocking day yesterday - had good lunch and dinner but in between was snacking on biscuits. Wish TOTM would hurry up and make an appearance - I have all the signs except the obvious (sorry TMI). Made SW chicken supreme last night using quark and it looked like it split? DD was questioning why it looked like that - tasted fine though!
klew - hope your headache clears soon x
5k run this morning in 31:31 whoohoo. Tricky work meeting at 10, so the run was much needed to clear my thoughts.

    Food today:
    B - overnight oats, cherries, mullerlight - HEXB/0.5 syns
L - grilled bacon, poached egg, tomatoes, pineapple (not all on the same plate)
    D - pasta, salad leaves, tomatoes, parmesan - HEXA1
    HEXA2 - milk
Total syns planned - 0.5 - let's hope I can stick to this today as weigh day tomorrow and it's not looking good.
    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Morning all!  Well done on only being slightly out of target range denise.  I'm sure you can pull that back easily next week.  Hope the water helps with the headache klew - I sometimes wake up feeling like that if I've had too much sleep!  Well done on the 5K coxy - have my final run of the week tomorrow and kind of looking forward to it, does this mean I'm a runner now? 🤣

Had more yogurt with berries this morning and lunch will be the last of my leftover black bean curry but I may have some quorn nuggets on the side as I found them in the freezer and now can't stop thinking about them 😆  For dinner tonight I'm treating myself to a steak with the famous cheesy garlic mushrooms, tenderstem broccoli, and maybe a fried egg and some roasted tomatoes - really can't wait although I'm pretty stuffed from breakfast still 😋

Coxy if you use quark or yoghurt in any sauce you need to take the pan off the heat and let it cool a little before stirring it through otherwise it will split.  As you say it tastes OK but looks horrible when it splits.  I had the same last night as I used a spoonful of quark as there wasn't quite enough Primula Light in the tube; I'd let the pan cool but obviously not enough as it was definitely a little bit split but not too much thankfully, otherwise DH would have been likely to comment about it and he didn't!

Enjoy your steak dinner  tonight ruby; the cheesy garlic mushrooms are lovely!  I wish fruit and yoghurt was enough for me for breakfast but I find that if that's all I have I've hungry again by about 10am and need something else so have just given up having them now.  The only time I have fruit in the morning is in overnight oats or on the side with baked oats.
