Hi everyone,
Didn't manage to get on yesterday due to one thing and another. Food was half on plan/half off plan. Naughty breakfast, great lunch, naughty snacks, great dinner, wine! Had a walk and did some gardening and will continue out there today, weather depending.
TIE - sorry you and DH are having such a tough time. Sending virtual hugs. Good that you managed to lose, but guess the stress has made it so. Take care xx
bubbs - good save on the pizza
milann - well done on STS and good idea on the rucksack idea. I too could never give up sugar - the mere thought of it!!
Today I will be mostly doing housework, gardening, pottering about. Had an awful night's sleep and palpitations which woke me up. Have a few stressy things going on right now that are the cause, but will plod on.
Food today is still undecided. Have a full freezer, so plenty of choice, just need to make a decision!
Hope you all have a good day and get some sunshine.

Hope you manage to stay on plan today coxy. 😉
DH really enjoyed last night's dinner as I tried out a couple of new things. We had gammon from the freezer then I made the mustard mash that denise recommended. I used wholegrain mustard as I didn't have any Dijon but it was fine. Then I made this gratin. It's not like cauliflower cheese, it's drier but it was tasty and we'll have it again.

I'm ignoring the syns as I always have less than a full HEB because of odd shaped bread and 10g of porridge oats is nothing shared. To be honest I'm not sure it made any difference. The cheese is HEA2.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), bacon, fried eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- ham (P), fried veg and pickles (S), LO mash (F)
D- Beef in 'Red Wine' (P,S), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns- cornflour 1, weekend wine😋0 -
Hey up all 😁😁
Glad you liked your mustard mash Maman
Well so far weather been good, we did have a little shower and ran and got washing in and then it stopped 🙄 but it was almost dry and didn't want to risk it getting really wet. So then later on hung the next load out and that has dried 😁
I had sausage, bacon and egg wraps for brunch, we have a roast chicken dinner for tea 😋
I have made cheesecakes for later 😋😋

Afternoon all, back home after our weekend away. Decided to come home today rather than tomorrow as the weather has taken a turn for the worse - just not warm enough to be sitting outside. Went for a short walk this morning and it was a bit "bracing"; the wind was really cold.
Just skim read the weekend's posts. Sorry to hear your news TIE but glad that DH is home.
Has been a very synful weekend with our boozy friends! We're meeting up again with them next weekend but this time we're also going out for F&C for lunch on Saturday. Definitely needs to be plenty of damage limitation between now and Friday and then again from next Sunday through to Thursday morning. Don't think I'm going to bother weighing this Thursday morning, LOL! Suspect I'll likely be out of target yet again.
Today I am back on plan:
B - breakfast hash - fried up bacon, tinned potatoes, spring onions, tomatoes, mushrooms & topped with eggs (very tasty it was too!) P; S; F
L - Welsh rarebit - cheese, mustard powder, garlic powder, egg, Worcester sauce - HEA2; HEB; P; F
D - pork chop, roast potatoes, roasted onions & peppers, green veg - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned

It's the one downside of things getting back to 'normal' denise. Too many temptations to go off plan that didn't exist during lockdown! 🤣 Glad you enjoyed your time with friends though.
Envying the fish and chips milann. They taste better out of paper at the seaside. 😋 A 220g portion is 14 syns from the chip shop so maybe yours was half that? 🤔
I suddenly got an attack of munchies last night. I had 3 Ryvita with a scrape of mustard and some ham. There could have been worse choices but I didn't really have the syns to spare. I'll do my best in the next 3 days but next week I really must start taking myself in hand in preparation for groups starting up. I'm sort of anticipating the week beginning May 17th? 🤔
We got out for a walk (6500+ steps) this morning while it was dry and bright. It's blowing up now, getting very windy and rain on its way.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
L- ham (P) veg and pickles (S)
D- chicken breast with bacon and HEA2 Primula (P), SW chips (F), carrot chips, broccoli, tomato, mushrooms (S)
Syns- HP sauce 10 -
The crackers were a good choice maman even if you didn't have the syns as they are low syn @ 1.5 each and the ham was Free and probably not enough mustard to bother synning! It's what I tend to eat if I'm peckish in the evening and don't fancy fruit!
You're right about the temptations of returning to "normal" life. I think groups are likely to restart 17 May but still no consultant for me so staying virtual for the time being. I've almost decided that I'm not returning to group once it restarts in RL and just carry on using this thread - still not completely sure but am keeping my options open at the moment whilst it's still virtual and I only need to send my weight in every few weeks!

I've had similar thoughts too denise. It was mainly around when we couldn't resolve me not weighing at home. I was doing exactly what Slimming World recommends but would have been out of target for the whole of lockdown when I was only a pound out at the last WI. 🤔 Fortunately my consultant came up with a plan that suited us both. We are moving to a new hall that's even nearer home (could walk if necessary) so I will go back for as long as my consultant stays. We're going out to lunch on 20th and 21st. My group will restart on the Thursday morning. I'm cutting it fine! 🤣1

I had skewers for tea, made a crustless quiche 1 hexa and had BLT egg wraps for lunch
