Morning all.  Hope you have a lovely weekend away denise and well done for being back in target.  Well done on  the PB Coxy - I'm on week 5 of C25K and my pace isn't bad but nowhere near as good as you!  Must admit I pack my bags at the till in Aldi but in my defence, I put things on the belt in a particular order so I can just scoop them into their allocated bag that's already open in the trolley.  Love kippers bubbs but then again I love all fish so probably not the best person to comment 😏

Realised that I'm kind of having SP days at the moment and it's totally by accident, but I'm enjoying it so just going with the flow.  We usually have stuffed peppers filled with rice but last night I decided to stuff them with some left over bolognese instead.  DH was a bit apprehensive as he loves his stuffed peppers but even he had to admit they were really yummy and he's requested them again!  Had FF greek yogurt, strawberries, blueberries and granola for breakfast today, egg and cheese salad planned for lunch and then salmon with broccoli and green beans for dinner.

Well done on your SP days ruby.  I'm with you milann if I plan an SP day I crave carbs!  I also find without carbs I feel hungry and then pick but fortunately very little in the way of synful foods in the house apart from crisps which I'm not bothered by.  I sometimes pop some corn as that's only 5 syns for 25g and I don't tend to have that much!  Once popped I spray with with oil and then sprinkle on some salt and sweetener to get a sort of salt and sweet popcorn - nowhere near as good as the stuff you can buy but it's passable when I fancy something to pick.

I love most types of fish but not kippers.  When DH has them I buy the boil in the bag ones as it keeps the smell down a bit!

Thanks for checking the syn value for the chicken satay skewers denise. I had the whole pack(!!!) but that's my only syns for today :) There are 10 sticks with two chunks on each. Rest of the plate was free/speed - leaves, tomatoes, beetroot, gherkins, silverskin onions yummy!

@Coxy11 I always have a box of those mini chicken satay, well Morrison’s ones in the fridge, if I’m wanting to pick it is the gap between the dog walk ending and dinner being served! So I would prefer to snack on them than crisps chocolate etc etc.

    B – granola ss milk

L – corned beef hash – ping meal but only 321 cals

D – tbc as I am heading to my parents, dads in hospital this afternoon having a few checks done so going to see my mum as not sure if it will be an overnighter. I know tea wont be a takeaway as I am in the zone but really not sure what it will end up being!

I am not a fish lover, it’s the smell! Hate it! One of my best friends is a total fish lover and I have sent her a card, for an event she is doing, which says good luck my fish fingers are crossed…. She will laugh when she opens it lol.

5.5 miles in the bag last night, id love to run like some of you. i did used to but a badly broken/damaged leg has put paid to that which is why i like to spin!

Congratulations for getting back into range denise. And 2lbs loss! That's amazing!! So pleased for you. 😊

I'm better off sticking to walking too although I'm full of respect for you runners. Usually I mostly  keep fit by dancing but that hasn't happened since Christmas so roll on May. 😊

No super bargains in the little Asda bubbs but they did have the UB sauce. I didn't really need any but I got a few jars for the storecupboard. I got some YS syn free tulips as well! 🤣

How do you make the kale and potato bake coxy? Is it a SW recipe? 🤔

It's strange but I frequently have SP lunches like omelettes or soup and something but always want carbs with my dinner. The best SP meal is a cottage pie with a swede and carrot mash on top as that feels like carbs. I find cutting carrots in chunks (new potato size) rather than slicing them feels like carbs too. It all helps.

A bit of an eggy day for me but I just fancied some with my lunch.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), 2 fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
    L- ham, eggs (P), veg hash, beetroot  (S) 1 potato (F)
Syns- SW Bolognese (P,S), tagliatelle (F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- 0

Butternut squash works like carbs too, particularly if roasted!
