I've never tried freezing cooked cabbage denise. I cut off what I need per meal as it mostly keeps well. I cook it all in the same saucepan and give it a good chop and stir when drained.

I've just portioned up a few swede and carrot mash. I worked out (as I didn't use a whole pack of carrots) that it cost 31p per kg compared with £3.50 per kg for Aunt Bessie's in Tesco. Even if I add in my time and electricity then it's a bargain. 😁

I definitely remember you going to Gibraltar bubbs. It didn't register that your DH was mortally injured visiting the monkeys . I was more interested in the fact that you enjoyed buying holiday clothes and sandals for your slim figure. 😁

Morning all, Happy Easter.  No chocolate eggs here either bubbs.  Still have a few squares of the bar I bought about a month ago left in the fridge.

We've been forecast 12 today but it's probably only about 9 at the moment, at least it was when I hung the washing out about 9 o'clock.  It's definitely very cloudy and overcast.

I didn't post my weight on Thursday but I was 0.5lb out of top end of target; I jumped on the scales this morning and I've lost 1.5lb since then and am back to where I was the week before so at the moment as far as my weight goes I'm STS from last time I text my consultant :).

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - sausages, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans - P; S; F; 2
    L - Welsh rarebit - HEA2; HEB; P; F
D - roast beef, roast potatoes, roast carrots, peppers, onions, green veg - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheee
    HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; may have a couple of rum & ginger beer later 5?

    Good morning all,
No eggs here either, apart from the teenagers ones. Will gloss over yesterday's lunch at DSis house as she did quiches, salad and those nibble cakes (flapjack, brownies). Of course I had some of everything lol. We had steak and chips last night and I had a glass of red wine with it. * week now here so no running this morning, but will go tomorrow I think.
Annoying about your consultant bubbs - mine has given up after 12 years - think a few have lost heart as it's so different over Zoom. Hope DH is okay after his fall.
That's a good turnaround since Thursday denise - wish I could lose that quickly - mine is painfully slow.
    Food today:
    B - hot cross bun - 9.5!
L - smoked peppered mackerel, salad leaves, tomatoes, pickles - 1 syn (half pack of mackerel)
D - roast lamb, sw roasties, carrots, brocolli, roasted butternut and courgette, redcurrant jelly - 1.5 syns
No HEXB planned today, HEXA1 will be milk and HEXA2 will be 3 mini babybel light
    Planned syns - 12
    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy
