Afternoon all
We have had snow, hail and now sun so i out my washing out about an hr ago, the wind is blowing it like there is no tomorrow, so bet it's dry. It is very cold though!
I emailed her Beanie, she has not replied 🤬 i know it's BH but she will have classes today!
Yes i was in a bit of a pickle trying to get up 🤣 mainly because there was nothing to hold onto and it was the shock! I said to dh didn;t you hear the bang? he said it just sounded like if you drop the shower gel/shampoo 🙄 Just seems my arm is bruised so i got away lightly.
His foot is still not good but he has work tomorrow, least he is laughing about it now, i said this little piggy went to market 🤣🤣
I had bacon and mushroom egg wraps for brunch, think i have pulled pork for tea, was un labelled in the freezer 🙄 so will have a jacket and salad i think with it 😋Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
No snow here but very, very much colder. 😊
Glad to hear you can both laugh about your bumps today bubbs. DH has started using a very slippery shower gel recently and he's concerned that either of us might slip. I do need to get something but don't fancy those rubber mats. DD1 has a wooden duck board. 🤔
You're very determined going out running in the cold coxy. Same with you going to sit in the garden denise. I'm a wimp and I've been sitting indoors reading. 😊
I did nip to Sainsbury's briefly and, despite what I said yesterday, I bought some YS fish. It doesn't take up much freezer space so I managed.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- cold turkey (P), fried potatoes and veg (F,S), beetroot (S)
D- salmon (P), mini roasts (F), cauli steak, PS broccoli, tomato, mushroom ()
Syns- HP sauce 11 -
It was absolutely freezing! Was a bit concerned as there was a bit of snow when we were driving to our friend's house but nothing where she lives thankfully. Her garden is quite enclosed so at least it was out of the wind which is where most of the cold was! A couple of hours was plenty though; glad we took blankets with us though!
Coxy - yes I do live on IofS. Came from London originally but been here just over 20 years now.
Glad you can both laugh about your falls now bubbs! Obviously not funny at the time though.
Realised after I'd posted my menu plan that it has turned out to be a Green day so if I fancy some crackers this evening then I can have some with squirty cheese! (that's what DH calls Primula Light, LOL!).
Still trying to get warm but getting there! Have the heating on and also drinking a cup of tea. Will go and start sorting dinner once I've had my tea - need to get the spicy veg mix sorted out so that it's ready once the rice is cooked later on. Takes a little while to cook because of softening the onions, seems to take an age, even with microwaving them for a few minutes to start. Won't actually be cooking dinner until after the CV update - want to make sure things are going OK so that we can get away in the motorhome! The data seems to point in that direction thankfully.

Maman we have a wooden duck board for when you step out of the shower.
Denise glad you managed to see your friend but yes it is cold. Hope you have warmed up now .Washing dried lovely though in the wind 😂Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
Yes, definitely warmed up now! Hands still seem to be a bit cold but I'm sure they'll soon warm up if I sit on them! Currently have the spicy veg mix cooking. Going to freeze half of it so that we can have a biryani next week while we're away as it's easy to do in the motorhome as only need to cook the rice and heat through the veg, will probably just stir them together rather than doing it as a dome with the veg in the middle, although may still do it that way as it looks so much nicer.
We just use a towelling bath mat to stop the slipping, just goes into the washing machine afterwards. Wish I could get more of them as they're brilliant but not seen them anywhere recently; the current ones are really think and I only paid £1.50 each for them but that was about 25 years ago! Dread to think how much they'd be now if I could find them!
