Well I've no idea where my post went earlier!  I posted a long post about 8 o'clock this morning!  Will try again now.

Welcome MrsBB to the thread, of course you can join, everyone is welcome.  As bubbs says things do change, for example, we are now allowed 2 HEAs and 1 HEB rather than just one of each.  You can always ask about syn values too, as of course they change as well from time to time.

It was really grey first thing this morning but is trying to brighten up.  Bedding washed and now out on the line - just wish there was a bit of wind as it's just hanging there at the moment!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - LF sausages, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans - P; S; F; 2
L - Linda McCartney red onion and rosemary sausage sandwich, brown sauce instead of spread - HEB; F; 1 (DH will have fish finger sandwich)
    D - sloppy joes, sweet potato jacket, coleslaw - P; S; F; HEA2

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; brown sauce 1; couple of rum & diet ginger beer 5

    Have a good day everyone.

    Thank you @bubbs! & @joedenise
Today is usually my weigh-in day had I'd gone to group, so I will keep that as it helps me stay flexible with my family then stay on track from Sunday to next weigh day.  I've reluctantly weighed myself this morning and written it in my diary.  Today will not be a flexible day as the scales did shock me this morning.  I have a diary I can write everything down, I've meal planned for the week, which is SW friendly, I just need to keep motivated so I don't touch the kids lunch box snacks.  I'm also going to try and walk more too (and I think my dog will agree on that!). Just going to take baby steps and treat this as day 1.

    Day 1:
Breakfast: 2 slices of WM bread (HEB), 2 x Bacon Medallions (lean), two eggs, fry light - r/f brown sauce - 1/2 syn
    Lunch: Egg Salad
Tea: SW Burgers (no bread) with SW wedges, 40g r/f cheese and side salad.

    Wish me luck xx

    Hi everyone,
Welcome MrsBB, good to 'meet' you. I am relatively new here too, and this is a lovely, supportive group of folk. Good luck for your first week back on plan - you can do this :)
I just ventured to the high street as DS2 had a routine eyesight test booked. I stopped by a local family Italian restaurant on the way back as their coffee is amazing - only takeaway at the moment and I want to support them if I can. Also got some mini cannolis with choco creme filling. Have indulged in one, but the remainder are for the family.
    Food today:
B - WM toast, baked beans, chestnut mushrooms - HEXB, S
L - Leek and potato soup
D - sausage and sweet potato traybake - contains red onion, sweet potato, mango, corn on cob. Will sub the family's pork sausages for LM red onion/rosemary ones for me. Means washing up another oven tin, but will save on syns. 1 syn for tbsp bbq sauce.
    HEXA1 - milk
    Syns - cannoli (?), under 15 hopefully ;)
Now for some body magic aka housework! Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Same here.  Anything to save having to use the TD is good!  Sometimes I wish I had 2 airers then it would be easier to finish off the quilt cover and sheet as could spread them out a bit more!

MrsBB I don't know if you are aware but you can have a couple of 800g medium slices of bread if you buy the Neville's bread from Mr Ts or Morries own brand rather than the usual 400g small loaves!  I try to use the Morries one usually.

Nuts! yes of course Bubbs! Will have about 50g of cooked mango so 1.5 syns.
Change of plan - didn't have the soup for lunch, just had a satsuma and some pineapple spears. Have done the housework (DH out helping DS1 decorate his house) and now having a much needed coffee. Don't feel hungry so will look forward to my dinner tonight :)
The cannoli is about 2" long and weighs 40g. It has about a tbsp of nutella in the middle so 25g of filo pastry, so perhaps 4 for the filling and 4 for the pastry, as 20g of pastry is 3 syns.
Syns - cannoli 8, mango 1.5, bbq sauce 1 - total so far planned 10.5. Ooh I have enough for a cheeky rum n pepsi maxi later ;)

Welcome MrsBrownBear. It's good to have you along. You're not alone in putting on weight during lockdown so don't be too hard on yourself. On the positive side, you know SW works for you. You've done it before so you know you can do it again. 😁 It sounds like you've made all the right preparations with your meal plan and notebook.  I'd suggest that you plan in some SW friendly snacks for yourself to have at the ready in case you're tempted by the children's goodies. 🤔

It's amazing how much we miss even simple things like a coffee coxy. I'm glad you treated yourself. It's better to lose weight slowly than deprive yourself and give up.

I've been batch cooking today and portioned up the chilli I made yesterday. It made 10 portions including one I kept out for my lunch. I also did some brown rice pouches, beef stew and a big pot of swede & c carrot mash is bubbling away now.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), fried eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- JP (F), chilli (P,S), cottage cheese (P), beetroot (S)
D- chicken stir fry (P,S), brown rice and chips (F)
Syns- sweet & sour sauce 1.5, weekend wine❤
