I thought Mr Bubbs was getting congratulations for finishing the shelves! Mucky Pup!🤣

Well done on your pound denise. You must have a birthday treat. I really enjoyed mine. 😋

I went to Aldi today and they had frozen butternut squash. It worked out at £1.30 per kg which isn't bad unless big, fresh ones are being sold per piece. I'll just use it to add extra Speed to chilli and Bolognese.

    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA 1 milk, raspberries (S)
    L- LO casserole (P, S, F) with pickled cabbage (S)
    D - SW Bolognese (P, S) spaghetti (F), HEA 2 Parmesan
    Syns - 0
No i just said thanks that's alot better 🤣🤣
I only ever buy BNS when it's sold as a unit, too expensive by weight!

I like those plates too maman but, like you, I've got plenty of crockery - no room for more really!

I've been looking for frozen butternut squash and couldn't find any - although I know I've seen it somewhere but can't remember where (definitely not Aldi 'cos I don't go in there now!) but did freeze some of the fresh one I cut last week.  It's good to add a bit a sweetness to curries too, as well as add extra speed to other dishes like bolognaise.

That does look lush bubbs. I must be hungry. 😋

I googled and they seem to have frozen butternut squash in most of the  supermarkets denise  including Iceland. Aldi is the best value though by a long way. Maybe some have larger chunks (from pictures) but as I'm only planning to add it to the sauces.
