Funny enough we've got sausage casserole tomorrow.  Have just got the sausages out of the freezer so they can defrost.

Well done milann. It's good that you're feeling in control. Which are the barm cakes you have for a HEB? They always sound good.

Did you go anywhere nice today bubbs? Got your new shelves yet? 😉

Morning all, it's a bit overcast here too bubbs but I've put a machine load of washing on anyway as it's supposed to be dry all day today and for the rest of the week apparently but we'll see.  There's a bit of wind so hopefully the washing will dry on the line.

I've only got 4 syns available for today but only need a couple for meals so should be OK!

    Today's plan:

    B - kedgeree - P; S; F
    L - scrambled eggs & spinach on toast - HEB: P; S
    D - sausage & bean casserole - P; S; F; 2

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - sausages 2

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,
Bit grey and chilly here in Kent. Went for a 3.5k run this morning, could've run for longer but decided to take it steady as arm still sore.
Had 3 x ferrer0 last night - a present for Mother's Day, so 12 syns to add to yesterday. Will be lucky to get away with a STS at this rate!
    Food today:
    B - 2 x WM toast, 2 tsp jam - HEXB/1 syn
L - Chicken satay sticks, leaves, tomatoes - 6 syns
D - chicken, potato and kale bake
    Snacks - apple, satsumas
    HEXA1 - milk
    HEXA2 - mini babybel x 2
    Total syns planned - 7
    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Maman - I use either Morrison’s or Aldi 6 to a pack wholemeal bread rolls - which are ‘barmcakes’ in this neck of the woods. 😂😂😂When my dd went down South to uni - they didn’t know what she was talking about when she mentioned a ‘chip barm’ 😂😂😂

Thanks milann, you can tell I'm a Southerner! 😉 I've heard of barm cakes but I assumed they were different in some way from your average bread roll. Every day's a school day! 😊

It's difficult to avoid stuff when they're gifts coxy.  I know my DD had gone to a lot of trouble to source he various bits she gave me for my birthday so I have to at least eat some of them. It's the same when I visit friends' homes for meals (Remember that?). I don' really like puddings but if someone has gone to a lot of trouble then it really would seem rude not to try any.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash , baked beans (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, bacon, fried egg (P)
L-  veggie stir fry with noodles (S,F)
    D- chicken casserole (P,S, F)
Syns- cornflour 1, sweet chilli sauce 1
