Wow klew! 8.5 miles! We did just short of 9 000 steps and I was pleased with that. 😊 STS is fine. 😉
Glad you're pleased to get the vaccine coxy. GP surgeries don't seem to know what supplies they're getting in advance so they have to work hard phoning people. Take it easy tomorrow in case you get any side effects. 🤔
We like Waitrose beans beanie. They're £1.10 for 4 tins but you probably don't have a Waitrose. 🤔0 -
Sadly no Waitrose maman
Only a Sainbugs unless I drive 18 miles there & then 18 backI am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Bit like me beanie - 16 miles each way to get to Sainsbugs which is why I don't go there very often, maybe just once or twice a year! Waitrose is even further away, nearly an hour's drive away.
Another horrible wet morning. Still have a couple of machine loads of washing to do but think I'm going to leave it until tomorrow when it's supposed to be dry all day.
Today's plan:
B - Welsh rarebit - HEA2; P; F
L - LO roast beef & mustard in WM roll - HEB; P; 0.5
D - hunters chicken lasagne; salad - P; S; F; 2 (new recipe from Jan magazine)
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
Syns - mustard 0.5; 25g mozarella 3
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning!
Urgh, well I was awake at 5am with the raging sweats - not sure if it's as a result of the vaccine or menopause lol although DH also had to get up and remove his PJ top during the night. I'm feeling headachey and flu-like so will take some paracetamol shortly.
I really really wanted a biscuit last night but I resisted - go me!
Today's food:
B - puffed wheat, skimmed milk - HEXB/HEXA1
L - firecracker chicken fillets, leaves, tomatoes, pickles - think the fillets are 2 syns - is anyone able to check please (they are from Sainsbobs)
D - grilled gammon, sw chips, egg, baked beans
Snacks - apple, satsumas, grapes
HEXA2 - mini babybel x 2 (pack has 10 so have 3, 3, 2, 2)
Syns - 2? TBC
Have a good day everyone,

Change of plan for dinner tonight! Going to do KFC, so the mozzarella can go in the freezer as won't need it; will also cut back on the syns a bit which is needed as went over last night as had a drink or three! Think I'll enjoy it more anyway!
Just realised I had toast for breakfast so I'll have to use 6 syns for the roll at lunchtime. Total of 7 syns today instead of the 1 I'd planned (tsp mustard; Tbs LTL mayo).
Just had a count of syns used this week and I've got 6 syns left for tomorrow but don't think I'll need them.
Coxy I'm assuming it's the ready to eat mini fillets that you're having? If so they are 1.5 syns for the 120g pack.
If it's the twin pack of 2 175g coated chicken fillets they are 7.5 syns each.

Thanks Denise - it's the ready to eat mini fillets - whoohoo to only 1.5 syns! Thanks so much for checking xCross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0

Hope you feel better soon coxy. 😊
It sounds as if it was dangerous taking DH shopping after the dentist denise! Too much booze available. 😉 Although I'm just tracking syns in my meal plan this week am slowly eating my way through the Welsh crisps DD bought me. I told DH to open them yesterday so he'll have some too to help out. It's a large bag.0 -
Definitely maman! That's where the syns came from yesterday and why I need to keep lowish today and tomorrow. Definitely no more alcohol until after WI on Thursday.
Enjoy the crisps! Good idea to get DH to help you eat them. I suppose I'm quite lucky that I'm not bothered by crisps, if DH opens a pack of ready salted I'll eat one or two but that will be it. If he opens flavoured ones I don't even touch them as I don't like the artificial flavours.

I only have crisps on high days and holidays denise. I really like them but I am picky about the flavours too. Until this week I hadn't had crisps since Christmas Night with my turkey sandwich! 😁
I've had to juggle the meal plan around a bit too today. DH has a Zoom meeting this evening and wants to use the dining room so I thought a plated up meal would be quicker to clear away after we've eaten. I'd rather do that than eat even earlier.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, scrambled eggs (P)
L- cold pork (P), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- sausage casserole (P,F,S) with tagliatelle (F)
Syns- sausages 2, cornflour 10
