Uncle Ben's Sweet and Sour was a big success. DH loved it but I had to come clean and say it was from a jar. 😉

We love chicken casserole. I use an adapted recipe (just Frylight instead of oil) from before SW and add extra vegetables. I did the same with the sweet and sour. As well as the suggested spring onions and peppers I added courgettes and mushrooms. 😋
    Glad you enjoyed it :D

Morning all.  A little misty and grey this morning but forecast to brighten up later.  Hope it does as this greyness makes me feel a bit down.  Will get out for a walk later, hopefully the beach won't be too crowded as the weather's not particularly nice.

I can't get into the website at the moment as it's saying I need to WI!  I only sent my weight in to the consultant week before last so I've text her to see if she can sort it out for me - of course I've apologised for bothering her at the weekend but I want the access I've paid for!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2
    L - red lentil dahl, wrap - P; S; HEB
D - roast pork, roast potatoes, roast carrots, onions, peppers, cauliflower, peas - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - wrap
    Syns - sausages 2

    Good morning,

That's annoying about the website Denise. Hope your consultant can get it sorted asap.

Sabotaged myself last night by having 4 biscuits (8 syns) AND some crisps, on top of an already syn-busting day. Felt really bloated and uncomfortable when I went to bed, so lesson learnt there. No excuse, just fancied them. Oh well, today is a new day!
i went for a 3.5km run this morning. Quite chilly out and a light frost, but I soon warmed up. Will go out to the town with DS2 later as he needs a couple of bits for school this week. Will walk instead of driving.

    Food today will be:
    B - puffed wheat, skimmed milk, satsuma - HEXB/HEXA1, S
    L - Egg, mushrooms, tomatoes - P, S
D - roast chicken, SW roast potatoes, cabbage, carrots,  broccoli - P, S
Will forego my usual small glass of white wine tonight. I have some fizzy flavoured water in, so will have that instead. Need to make amends lol!
    Have a good day all,
    Coxy

Morning all, just popping my head round the door to check in. I’m not fully on plan still
so can’t properly contribute as such. Had a WI yesterday and relieved with a STS. Last week and a bit to go on my job, then start new one in 2 weeks time. I will hopefully be more focused then. Where I am is too stressed and far to busy, so I am just drained most week days. Weekends have been full on organising sheds, greenhouses and garden, but it’s good exercise- even if my achy back disagrees

hope DH is ok today Bubbs. My Partner had his 2nd Pfizer jab yesterday and apart from
s sore arm seems ok. He’s taken some paracetamol as advised by the nurse, who warned him the 2nd dose often has more of an effect with people feeling short term aches etc.

Sun is trying to break through here. We are off to collect a motorbike this AM locally then back for more time in my greenhouse which I gutted yesterday, built nee units for storage, and had to refill again. Needed doing and is looking much tidier, even if it is bursting at the seams.

    Have a great Sunday!
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Hi all, big virtual hugs to those in need 🤗
WI half on 😤 totally fed up with food 🥺, dreading tomorrow when kids all in! Still here there and everywhere, y4 mon & tues then Y2 everyday possibly all day but maybe y6 🤷🏼‍♀️. When my pm 1-1 is back after Easter I will be full time in y6 as my job share goes into isolation from Tuesday before hip replacement surgery 😱. She may or may not be back before end of school year!
Hubby has booked his jab as over 56, I’m still too young 🤣.
I forgot to order my meds so completely out 😱 in for a rough time as withdrawal will set in before I can get more 😤 stupid stressed out brain 🥺.

Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hugs TIE.  You don't sound in a good place at the moment.  Hopefully you can get your meds quickly - do you order on line?  If you do you should be able to pick up tomorrow night if you put in the notes that you have completely run out, certainly can at my GP's anyway; if not then Tuesday.

sary - the job sounds a nightmare.  Bet you'll be glad once you're out of there.  It's horrible working your notice when your workplace is like that.

Glad to say I've got access back to the website.  Tried it just before lunch and managed to get on so text my consultant to let her know - assume she did something her end but didn't think to let me know!

It sounds as if she'd maybe not updated your records with SW denise but good that it's all sorted now.

STS is good with everything that's going on sary. Just hang in there for the next couple of weeks and try to make a plan for when you start your new job as you'll be taking lunches.

I find it really hard to listen to what goes on at your school tie. You really shouldn't be hopping between class/year group bubbles. Try to take care of yourself as best you can. Your food can't be too much  out of control with such a tiny gain. 🤔

It must be hard having biscuits and crisps and other synful stuff easily to hand coxy. Fortunately there are just the two  of us at home and I'm not tempted by the biscuits and buns that DH eats. I bought crisps at Christmas as a treat but couldn't keep them in the cupboard on a regular basis as they'd call to me. I'm planning some for my birthday! 😁

I'm having the same lunch as yesterday, very unimaginative but don't really fancy anything else. We've got roast lamb later. It's a shoulder joint so some fat but it doesn't happen often. Hopefully the 4 syns for gravy will cover any fat that gets into the meat juices.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), bacon, fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P) pickles (S)
D- roast lamb (P), roast potatoes, LM stuffing (F) lots of vegetables (S)
Syns- HM gravy 4, weekend wine😊

I think you're probably right maman, have to say I thought she might have text me to let me know she'd sorted it rather than leaving me to just try the website again!

The dahl was nice at lunchtime but didn't have a wrap in the end, had a pitta instead!  There's enough left for lunch tomorrow so will probably cook a bit of rice to go with it.  Forgot the dahl had coconut milk in it so there was a couple of extra syns there plus I'll have some apple sauce with the roast pork later so another syn there so total of 5 syns planned so far.  May have a couple of drinks later but not decided yet, will see if I fancy them later.
