I was a bit like that after my jab bubbs. Had the jab in the morning and by the evening I had a raging temperature and felt really tired. Ended up having an early night - about 9pm and slept right through until 7.30am! Absolutely unheard of for me. Following day I ended up back in bed for a couple of hours as felt tired again. Slept normally that night, as in needed to get up for the loo about 3am! Right as rain after that.
Hope your DH feels better tomorrow. I'm sure he will.
I can't make anything for me without DH having to sample it so I might as well make him something similar at the same time, LOL!

Pottering about in the kitchen, I decided to debone the chicken thighs and then did the maths. Buying skinless/boneless thighs from Aldi £4.21 per kg. DIY came to £2.26 per kg after I scrapped the weight of skin and bone . So almost £2 per kg extra for them to prep them for you. Now I just need to practise my butchery skills. 🤣
Hope your DH feels better soon bubbs. If he feels rough you'll have to eat all the picky tea yourself! 🤣1 -
That's quite a saving maman. I always used to buy the skin on/bone in thighs but I think I got the boneless/skinless on offer and decided to carry on buying it even when I paid full price for it. Daft really because it isn't that difficult to skin and bone the thighs! In fact for some things bone in would be better just for the flavour - things like curry and tagines. Think, like you, I'm going to go back to buying the skin on/bone in ones and skin them all but only bone out some of them for KFC so they're easy to prep! Decision made!

bubbs does that mean you leave the thighs whole when you do KFC? I always cut mine into 3 or 4 smaller pieces, makes them easier to eat!

Glad you didn't have to eat all the picky tea yourself bubbs. Well done for refusing the piece of pizza. 😇
We eat the KFC with knives and forks too. I'm going to go back to leaving the bone in for casseroles but stick to boneless for KFC. On average we have two 100g pieces each for KFC. For casserole it's about the same but it's really about flavour as it tastes just as good the next day when I eat LO with little or no meat. 😋2 -

Uncle Ben's Sweet and Sour was a big success. DH loved it but I had to come clean and say it was from a jar. 😉
We love chicken casserole. I use an adapted recipe (just Frylight instead of oil) from before SW and add extra vegetables. I did the same with the sweet and sour. As well as the suggested spring onions and peppers I added courgettes and mushrooms. 😋1
