The ham looks lush. Didn't have any when I was in Farmfoods but will keep looking. 😋
I prefer sardines plain in water but I do like mackerel in mustard sauce.
Good plan beanie. Speed, water and writing everything down, all excellent tips for making SW work. 👍1 -

Morning all! Another busy day here today so just popping in quickly. Well done on the loss beanie, that's amazing. Breakfast was a couple of weetabix, lunch will be lentil and red pepper soup (it's rather cold and grey here this morning), and dinner is chicken fajita bowls. Morning all, grey, damp and misty here this morning too but I've taken a chance and hung some washing out. It's forecast to brighten up later so let's hope so.
I didn't menu plan very well this month! We're having a very rice heavy day today!
Today's plan:
B - kedgeree - P; S; F
L - burger and onions in a roll - HEB; S; 0.5
D - chicken and leek baked risotto - P; S; F (I've never done a baked risotto before so hope it's OK - I've always stood over the cooker stirring it the whole time!)
HEA - milk
HEB - WM roll
Syns - LF burger 0.5
Have a good day everyone and keep safe.

Morning all, damp and dull here too.
Did around 4 miles last night with the dog, hes woken with a sore tummy this morning, trying to eat grass and lots of rumblings. Not eaten his breakfast so not sure how far we will go tonight bless him.
Breakfast was granola and semi skimmed milk, not sure on the syns of this I will check later on, but I fancied a change from the fruit and fibre
Lunch is chicken tikka pieces from Morrison’s with pea shoots, celery, cucumber, spring onions, pickled onions, sweetcorn and grated carrots. Forgot to boil an egg!
Dinner is SW friendly Bolognese made with 250g 5% mince, onions, carrots, celery, tomatoes, tinned tomatoes, red pepper and mushroom and all the bits to make it tasty which I will have tonight with pasta and some cheese on top, yummy.
Have a good day everyone and well done @beanie could do with a loss like that myself

Perhaps you wrote your meal plan before you had the home smoked haddock denise. It's encouraging you to have kedgeree more often. 🤔
There are a few brands of granola that count as a HEB klew, including a couple of Kellogg's, some Morrisons, Asda and Waitrose. Otherwise a HEB sized portion is around 6 syns .
I've got 8 syns left for today but I only need 1 for some cornflour. I was reading a SW magazine earlier and it had 1 tbsp of cornflour for a recipe for 4 people. They synned it at half . I suppose that's because they wouldn't want to print 'ignore the quarter of a syn in this recipe! '. 🤣
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, banana, skinny syrup (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, raspberries (F)
L- Spanish omelette (P,F,S), ham (P), beetroot (S)
D- Chicken casserole (P,F,S) green veg (S)
Syns- cornflour 11 -
I think you might be right maman! I've looked at the plan and we've got kedgeree again in a couple of weeks time for some (unknown) reason I've put a curry on for that night! That one has now been changed - will swap with the following night's plan; knock on effect will also have to swap the next 2 night's dinners otherwise we'd be having rice too many times in the week. Think I'm going to go into my menu plan on the laptop and move some of the meals around and reprint it so that we don't end up eating rice nearly every day for a week, LOL!
I'm with you on the cornflour - 1 Tbs for 4 portions isn't worth worrying about! I only syn it if I need to use that amount or more for 2 portions. You've done better for syns than me this week! I've already gone over by 2 so if I get away with STS this week I'll be happy - definitely not expecting a loss!
