wow, you're fairly cracking on with those little hats, vulpix.

I'm too impatient to do patchwork by hand!   I've told myself that it's the little (not big) imperfections that make it personal.

No, I didn't use the shirt material for masks; it is a synthetic material and I wouldn't like it on my face.   I have soooo much cotton fabric left over from quilt making, so that's what I'm using.   I have to confess to buying some bee patterned fabric for 'special request' masks.   8 masks today (332 altogether).

I'm not getting so much done (0f anything) just now as I'm engrossed in the Euros!

Well, Scotland is out of Euros (surprise, surprise) but I'm still glued to it, so it's just as well that there are fewer games now although I still haven't done much.   I picked up my crochet hook and I've made 13 pairs of hearts for hospitals.   My target is 20 pairs by Wednesday, so that is certainly doable.   It's not a great stashbuster, but every little helps.

  • I've got a big stash of fabric and other things so I have to get my sew on. But then I look at it and think of how pretty it all is, and can't face cutting it to sew. I will though as I have a lot of things to get sold!

I am on a spend ban until I have got less than 30% of my fabric left and only need to replace it.

At least I have started using it and listing things on Etsy! Send help to stop buying more pretty fabric  :D

Finally finished the grey bolero - was a bit worried about using up fuzzy black wool to finish it, but it looks really classy!

    well done, Wraithlady.

I'm on a break just now.   Well, I'm not really, I've just been too lazy to start something new.   I have made 2 cards - yay!  And I have decided to crochet an autumn leaf garland.  Last year my DiL dropped hints - sent a link - that she'd like some maple leaves for the nursery where she works.   One year on ....
I have decided to make a quilted wall hanging of a bookshelf for my daughter, who's a librarian.   I'm also trying to get my sewing machine serviced, so I'm holding off starting any sewing projects just now, hopefully not for long.

I made 13 cards on Sunday- first in a very long time! It's been all hands on deck tidying the house and keeping it tidy, but we've now accepted an offer on our house, and we're waiting back to hear about our offer (fingers crossed!).
Planning on making some more cards from various kits I still have "out", rather than packed away in the loft. It would be amazing to have even more used up before we actually move!

Emsi, I'm amazed that you fond the time to make cards just now - well done.
I got 8 little  beech leaves made for my garland.
Oh, if anyone has the selvedge strips from quilting cotton with name and colours on and doesn't need them, I'm looking for some for the 'book titles' for my bookshelf quilt.   Not the fabric, just the selvedge strips that usually get discarded.   I'll pay postage.   i use fat quarters a lot, but I seem to have got the side without the writing just about every time.

Green tiger, I have packed all my fabric away, so I can't help with your hunt I'm afraid. An ingenious way of making use of all the scraps though!
I found myself with a bit of a lull, and given how hectic it was thought I'd have some me time. A good job, as we've had our offer accepted so it's all go now!
