I've managed to sort out a few odds and ends to go from a drawer, and I've sewn another leg band on the pants. Thankfully little seems to like the look of the scraps, especially the tractor bits! I've booked a couple of days leave, but I also need to do some decorating so we shall see how much I actually get done+

Well done craftingmad and vulpix! We have someone coming round to value our house Monday... 😳 I need to crack on with the projects pile! Lots of them are new baby gifts that can go to my mum's or nan's whilst we move/eagerly await the new little ones!
I am not looking forward to moving all of my craft stuff, but equally don't want to get rid of lots of it because I like and will eventually use all of it.

Hi guys, I'm late to the party.   It's been a couple of years since I joined in.
I haven't stopped crafting at all in that time and I am STILL stash busting.    Last year I did an enormous bust - I gave away 75% of what I had!   My craft room had got completely out of control and was such a mess.   I still have far too much stuff; in the craft room it still fills a gent's wardrobe and 3 cupboards - and it still takes up half a wardrobe and a chest of drawers in the spare room and most of the space under our bed.  It covers fabric, needlework, painting, card making, knitting & crochet ...
I've bought essential supplies like glues, envelopes and plain white card and some elastic, thread & fabric*.
What have I made so far this year?
Fabric: an apron and 2 mini shopping bags for GD, a baby quilt, 33 masks (over 300 altogether now, all given away), a big scrappy quilt/picnic mat with waterproof backing for DiL's nursery and a pair of PJ bottoms* for me (to replace ones that had died but I loved the top!)
    Card Making: 64 cards made
What am I planning?  I have plenty of ideas and I won't get round to them all, but I do have a list
Fabric: masks, dog coat, 'library' wall hanging, armchair tidy, cushion covers, stadium seat covers (if we ever get back, but I'd need to buy fabric for that), Morsbags, more scrappy picnic quilts ....
Wool: socks, crochet leaves for nursery, 20 pairs of hearts for hospitals, mitts for GD
Needlework: I've been working on a tapestry I started several years ago. I won't get it finished because sometimes I have to do other things, like cooking shopping, speaking to people ...
Card making: at least another 50
Sorry for being so long winded, I need to be accountable!   My stash is definitely StABLE!

greentiger ,you are very talented and slashing through your stash at a rate of knots. I see no problem here hahaha. I am moving house soon so only buying a tiny amount if needed to finish something off. I should be packing but keep sitting down and knitting !
I am working my way through wool ,making items for a maternity hospital in Africa.
emsi, quite right about not getting rid of stuff. I have done that previously and had to rebuy. The housing market is on fire at the moment so you should be moving soon!
     2 more baby hats

That's brilliant, vulpix.   I love that so many people are making a worthwhile contribution to society while doing something they enjoy.

     3 more hats.
Getting a little fed up of knitting now. I am thinking about sewing another quilt. I can see light at the end of the tunnel with the wool stash so will soldier on for the time being.

    Well done, vulpix!
Wool stash?   I passed a LOT of mine on to other folk and kept only the Stylecraft Special DK, on the principle that it at least went together.    I even took all the wee left over bits and wound them into 'surprise' balls, all joined with 'magic' joins, to make a magic surprise blanket.  Oh and I kept all my sock wool.   And the stuff that was especially pretty.   You can see why I have a problem.   Last year I knitted 2 cardigans for my GD and made some hearts for hospitals.   I swear stash is like mushrooms - leave it in the dark and it keeps on growing!
