2021 - No Craft Spending - I WILL bust my stash and make pretty things!!!!

Not too much to report but loved reading through everyone's updates! 
That cat bed is adorable!
A few makes-all new techniques we've meaning to try (using craft books which in this house are often much admired on purchase and then put down on shelves forever more...) and had stuff put aside to do them with. There was a purchase of cotton for knitting needles and a new circular needles but all for a project for a very sick family friend to keep her warm during chemo so I'm sure this allowable (not more than £30 either so not awful). 
Also made a good start on sorting the craft "stuff" can only do it in little chunks every week but have made a difference to access ability if not much of a dent in stuff. A small collection of "just in cases" did find their way to the bin and we are in the process of making storage for knitting needles etc out of fabric stash rather than just buying something so that's a plus too!
I feel a smidge more positive after writing then I did before!  makes this year: 10/52

Bit of a setback - I was about 2/3 through the bolero I was making with the wool scavenged from a friend when I realised I didn't have enough to finish the whole thing.

I've had to start again, using some other thick wool for the cuffs and collar.

I had a large ball of that fuzzy velvet yarn from Sirdar - can't remember what it was called. The contrasting black cuffs actually looks rather good with the grey of the main body.

I am so used to yarn being discontinued that I didn't even check - it is still available, but I am supposed to be reducing my stash!

 Another baby hat.
 Wool stash massively depleted. Not sure there will be enough to make many more blankets. Well there is but I want the colours to look nice. Nobody wants an ugly baby blanket for their new baby.

 I am knitting a big blanket for my Nephews imminent baby. His wife tells my Mum she doesn't like handmade stuff ! I will keep it,I might be a Granny one day.

Still here!

Finished one of the (many) UFO's so another one on the tally.

It's a loose top made in lightweight cotton (not very useful atm!) but I'm just happy to have finished it
