You are very kind. The big scratch down the front of the chair was Mr V helping me to get a very stubborn tack out! I believe walnuts are the thing to use to hide a scratch in brown furniture.
I have started a cross stitch wedding card for my son. It is tiny,a struggle for my eyes. A baby hat knitted tonight as I need day light for the cross stitch.

Only one thing to report- an anniversary card for hubs 18/75. I need to crack on with mothers day and new baby cards, so will try to have a couple of hours to myself this weekend! I will aim to use some things out of the box of stuff to use up before looking for anything else, but I can't really remember what I put in there, so I might struggle with the baby card.Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

Actually walnuts did work but it took a couple of days for the colour to develop. This cat house has taken a while. Made from off cuts and pallet wood. Had the roofing felt from when we did the shed. Paint left over from the garden furniture. Some underlay scrap inside. Did have to buy wood for the trim. Cost about £3

Impressive!
On a related (carpenting) note, OH has offered to make a raised bed for our patio, so I can grow veggies - just need to measure it and let him know how big to build it
