    Morning lovelies,
Had some time in the garden yesterday and managed to cut back and tidy up around 15 sacks worth aaargh! It's looking so much better out there and can now see all the crocuses and daffs coming through, which is lovely.
Have started PL Paris and have so far stitched most of the Eiffel Tower and now the west wing of Notre Dame (as was...  :'( )
Forgot how tough it is to work on 18ct aida! Thank the lord for my lamp and magnifying glass.
Today is housework day so doubt I'll pick up my stitching, but needs must. I do like a clean and tidy house. DH is popping (50mile round trip) to drop off 2 x nephew birthday gifts to his sister. One is 5 on Thursday and has a kiddy gardening set and book, the other is 21 on 4 March and has cash. They are brothers. DH will drop at the door and come home again.
Car service on Friday and the prop shaft is damaged (!) which is odd as we bought it from them (main dealer) last March and we've only done 5k miles in the last year due to lockdown. All good though as covered under the warranty.
Annoying about the kitchen worktops Charly - bet you'll be glad when it's all done. Small mercies that your oven and hob are still operational. Yes photos of the bookmark pretty please  :)
    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy xx

Coxy, amazing ta-dah moment, she is lovely. Sorry to hear about your DSis dog, it's the most heartbreaking thing to happen. One of mine in her last days with cancer would only eat KitKats, so that's what she had, i miss them all  :'(  I was in the garden today too as it was sunny, planted the leftover hawthorns now i'm not touching them again.

Charly, well done on completing one bookmark, we had a robin on the fence earlier. The week will fly by and you'll have a lovely kitchen :)

I managed a bit more of The Junction, will need to move it across the frame shortly, its over 25% completed. OH was asked to go for a PET-CT Scan yesterday but can't go yet as he has steroids in his system, he finishes them on Thursday so another 80 mile round trip coming up, can't be done at local hospital 5 minutes away, typical! The joys of living in the Lake District  :D

What lovely Ta-dahs and updates. I’ve not ventured into the garden or up to the allotment, waiting for a dollop of motivation.
Due back at work today. Managed a good couple of hours before being violently ill. No idea why, but ending up sending a couple of emails asking colleagues to take up the slack for me, getting back into pj’s and spending day between bedroom and bathroom.
DH back from work now for online training and he seems fine. Chilling on sofa with some picture books.
Update on my wonky sewing. Will probably dab some anti fray on the ends.

Charly, hope you're feeling a bit better, maybe something you ate? I love the finished bookmark and its backed nicely, people always expect we can sew well as we cross stitch, its not the same thing  :D

Aw Charly the bookmark looks great. I love the fabric you chose to back it with. Is the other one still WIP? Hope you're feeling better. We have sunshine here in Kent and are due 17 degrees tomorrow - wow, almost tropical!
So the roadmap is now known, although most had been talked about all day yesterday. I've been doing some planning for my JoGLE walk. Got some new guidebooks for Christmas, one in particular is only 2 years old and is very detailed about the route and places to get fresh stream water and also wild camp  :o We will need to do this fairly early on in the Highlands as simply no campsites or hostels/bnbs around. Oh well, I'm sure we'll cope! Looks like mid-end June now for our start date, just need to wait for the Scottish First Minister to make an announcement.
No sewing last night as was researching the route. Maybe do some later today.
    Have a good day all

Gale force wind and rain here all day, looks the same for tomorrow too :(  Coxy, good luck with the JoGLE, let me know your route if you're anywhere near Whitehaven, i'll buy you a coffee and cake. I was born on the Moray Coast in Scotland and lived in the highlands for a while, so scenic up there.

Aw thanks nmm, I may well take you up on the offer  :) So NS announced a slightly earlier reopening for Scotland but now DSis has dropped in her ILs postponed 60th wedding anniversary party at the end of June. Back to the drawing board with dates - I will be calling her later, as having texts flying back and forth is not helpful!
No stitching done last night AGAIN. Will try for tonight.
nmm - do you know if Yarndale is going ahead 'in person' this year? I can see the website and dates but no details of ticket prices etc.
    Have a good day all,
    Coxy

Hi all. Feeling a bit better but not 100%. Lost my appetite (no bad thing!  :D), and throat and mouth very sore from being unwell. Luckily am stumbling through my working days. Sorry to hear of your frustrations regarding travel plans Coxy. Can I ask a stupid question of you both? What’s a JoGLE?
I stitched a bit more last night but no stitching Monday. Nearly finished Robin 2. Just the snow to stitch at the bottom, even up the fraying and back it.

Charly, looking good and so close to finishing, i knew you could do it :) Not a stupid question JoGLE is John O'Groats to Lands End (i didn't know either till Coxy mentioned it ;)

Coxy, not heard about Yarndale but if its on and you're available i'm up for it and anyone else that would like to join us, i'll ask my crochet buddy if she wants to come too.

    Morning!
Yes nmm is correct - as opposed to LeJOG which is South to North. We want to walk downhill.......!! Have now told work aaargh - it's happening people!!!
Love love love the Robin Charly and glad you're feeling a bit better. Hope you're back to 100% soon x
STILL no stitching done as had a mahoosive Zoom session with friends last night. Will definitely do some tonight.
nmm - I've booked a bnb in Skipton for Yarndale weekend (Friday and Saturday night). Don't have to pay until June so will see what's occurring then. Remarkably easy, so now thinking they are going virtual again this year hence why there was availability, but will see. Would be great to meet up - either on JoGLE or at Yarndale or both. The more the merrier :)
    Have a great day everyone,
    Coxy xx
