Eiffel Tower and west wing of Notre Dame 😊
Forgot to say that I also ordered the cross stitcher mag with the haberdashery shop design. Cost me £4.99 But the postage was free 😉

Coxy, Nice update on PLP, so colourful. Not sure the usual cost of the mag but that sounds a decent price.

Thank you both for the comments on the card, maybe its lacking some backstitch, not sure i've still time to look for another design. OH got his scan today, should get the results in 2-3 days the Dr is phoning us on Tuesday i hope he has seen it by then.

    Enjoy the weekend ladies :)

Coxy lovely update on pLP. I can’t wait to stitch up my pLCities. The colours just pop and they’re quite modern. Nmm what you decide about the card? Glad OH got the scan and fingers crossed for the results.
I’ve finished MD card, not sure. The ears aren’t as cute as on the original design and the tail is a bit square but for a first attempt at photo to Aida with only my dodgy graphing I think it’s okay! :D I really want to get started on my BF card (Thursday) found a little seed design and my DD (24 on Saturday) a rainbow butterfly so just want to get it in the post with bookmark and book.

    Morning!
Wish I felt as cheery as that sounded - feeling a bit rough today. Weirdly think it is down to sugar free flavoured fizzy water that I drank yesterday instead of wine with my roast dinner. Couldn't make it up lol!
Loving all the card designs. As you know, I purged my card making stash during lockdown 1 and gave loads of bits to a friend. Not regretting it....yet.... It's craft week in A!di so treated myself to some ribbon - 3 colours for 99p - which I hope will come in handy when I frame the PL series in hoops.
The stitching mag arrived on Friday and has a free gift of a biscornu pin cushion. Might have a go at that sometime. The Haberdashery shop design is also offered as a kit for £37 plus P&P which is a bit steep. I will take a look in my stash, pretty sure I can source most of it from what I have in.
I did some stitching yesterday (hurrah) and have done the hill and path leading up to Sacre Coeur. I have run out of one colour - the blue of the Eiffel Tower. I foolishly forgot to check amounts needed when ordering the other colours. No matter - can probably just get one skein from Hobbycra4t at some point.
Think of your OH nmm and hoping results are okay.
    Stay safe and well everyone,
    Coxy

Hi Coxy hope you’re genuinely feeling a bit better today. Hope you have some good results for OH nmn.
I set the timer and snook 15 minutes after lunch today to stitch & yesterday as well as stitching in the evening. Need to finish tomorrow if I can as bestie’s birthday Thursday. Then need to start butterfly. Here’s  shed shelf update.Got to finish tines on the fork, finish two pot plants on top shelf and BS the snail. Can you spot him under the shelf?
4 hour virtual open evening tomorrow  :( Have a good day tomorrow all.

Coxy hope you're feeling better, nice you got the free gift too, the kit sounds expensive but its got loads of detail in it, you could probably buy the floss and fabric cheaper yourself though.

Charly, great progress on the shed shelf, i didn't spot the snail till you mentioned it how cute :)

I decided to keep the sunflowers, i think it was the mount i hated so have got some card and made a nicer one, all sorted now. I did manage some on The Junction last week so there's an update too. OH got his results they said the spleen is not working correctly but they don't know why, going to send him for a bone marrow test next, they just have to keep ruling things out :/

ETA: OH got a call yesterday he's having the bone marrow test this afternoon, road trip again.

Nmm I think the sunflowers look great. The change of mount made a real difference is it because purple and yellow are complimentary colours. Good progress on the junction too. Hope the bone marrow test went well, I understand they’re quite painful. I hope that wasn’t the case.
    How are you doing Coxy?
Two finished cards. MD card in the post with a book and a Robin bookmark. Shed shelves delivered to bestie today. Now stitching butterfly for DD! Last minute.com at the moment.

    Hiya,
Sorry for the lack of posting - work! I haven't done any more stitching yet this week. Hoping to do some tomorrow night.
Hope the bone marrow test was okay for your OH nmm - such a worry. I love the new card you've chosen for the MD card it makes such a difference.
Well done on the quick finishes Carly, and hope the butterfly comes together quickly for you.
Will hopefully have an update photo to share this weekend.
    Keep safe Andy well everyone,
    Coxy xx
