Latest update - Notre Dame and the Louvre now completed 😊
Not much crafting done this week but our VM TV box is kaput so I managed some last night as DH went to a friends garden for some beers 🍻 Engineer meant to be coming out today.
Was a bit stiff as I did a 6 mile hike with full backpack in the morning in preparation for my JoGLE.
Hope you all have a nice Easter break and that OH is comfortable nmm
    Take care all,

Great great update Coxy. Love the colours, I know I keep saying it but they are so bright and uplifting. Hope the muscles are recovering and you got the box fixed.
I hope you have all had a nice Easter break if you had one. Nmm praying that OH is continuing to make small steps of progress and you have some information to help that journey.
I’ve been working on a card for DS who loves elephants as well as sampler and planning card for FIL’s 90th next week. MIL just come out of hospital and has care in place at home for 6 weeks. We have been over there doing jobs as well as working in the kitchen and outside. All of the decking has been pressure washed and treated and bench been teak oiled. Good job as it’s snowing here today!

Just got to mount this and post tomorrow.

Debrak that’s going to look amazing. I’ve never thought in terms of stitch counts. Nearly quarter of a million-wow! Whilst the samplers stitch up faster I’m looking forward to completing  another like this. Works of art.

    Hi everyone,
Love the elephant card Charly. Sorry to hear your MIL has been poorly but hope the plans in place all work out. You sound like you've been really busy.
Debrak - that looks amazing. Love your needle minders - I'm a piggy fan too!! Wouldn't like to hazard a guess at stitch counts - would blow my mind.

Well VM didn't show up to fix the TV box on Saturday - we rang at lunchtime to be told they couldn't see where the engineer was on his book of work, and again at 4pm when we were told he'd been and fixed the issue at 9am. Errr no, sorry, there were 4 adults and a dog in the house at the time and no-one saw or heard him.
Borrowed an HDMI cable from nephew and that fixed the issue - VM are sending us one at some point. When removing the original cable, DH noticed it was branded 'sky' so the cheeky blighters didn't even install new equipment when we switched 5 years ago! I have sent a suitably worded complaint to VM and hoping to get a discount as we are paying c£100/month.

Back on topic with stitching news! I message DMum to ask if she had any DMC798 (royal blue) as I've run out and Hobbycra4t aren't open yet. She does, so is posting to me - hurrah! I finished the Pompidou centre (apart from 798 sections) and am now doing the Moulin Rouge windmill. It's stitching up quite quickly. Next will be the hot air balloon which I'm assuming has something to do with Jules Verne/Phileas Fogg as not sure Paris is known for them otherwise? Every day is a school day as they say....

    Keep safe a well everyone,
    Coxy xx

That would be the Montgolfier brothers, attributed with inventing the hot air balloon

Hi ladies, i'm sure i posted yesterday, i definitely typed it out but must've forgot to click post  :* Reply take two, lol.

Coxy, love the bright colours perfect spring project, saw your post on FB about your walk, can't wait to follow your JoGLE trek.

Charly, adorable elephant, congrats to you FIL on his 90th and sending GWS wishes to your MIL.

Debrak, welcome and wow what a project, is it a HAED? I see you are doing it 1 over 1, incredible, you must have good eyesight :)

I've managed some stitching on the Junction, also took a close-up of the fiddly petit stitches to show you.
Looks like my OH has a form of blood cancer, we don't know how bad it is yet. He's got an MRI booked next week to check if he can have his spleen removed as that seems to be the problem, more waiting.
