I spent the day cleaning, washing and watching the funeral yesterday. What a wonderful service and I loved the music. The queen looked so little though 

DH had some friends over in the garden last night, so I spent the evening stitching and managed to finish PL Paris. Photo to follow from  my phone

We are off to DS1s house to paint the spare room later. DH has promised it will only take two hours but I expect it won't!!!

Lovely morning here. I'm off for a haircut shortly - feel and look like Cousin IT from the Addams Family !!
I have started on HSC Rudolf Sampler. I'm using 16ct green aida. There are only 8 colours needed but some of them require 2 skeins, so I've order the extras and hopefully they will be here by the weekend. For now, I've started on the middle of 9 reindeer which is Rudolf himself! Not much in the way of update, so I'll save the photos for later.
Is anyone watching Sewing Bee? I need to catch up so no spoilers please

Christmas projects already, you're keen  I watched the first episode of the Sewing Bee, i love the creations but no good at doing it myself.

Lol nmm, I know Thought I'd better make a start as I'm going to be away for a chunk of the year. Have done Rudolph's antlers and his sweater with a lovely 'R' motif. Hoping the threads arrive soon as I need one of the colours already!
Lovely sunny day here and I did a 5k run in 30:44 this morning which is my fastest yet whoohoo. I have a 20k hike planned for Saturday and the weather looks lovely - bring it on!
Still need to catch up on Sewing Bee !!

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing okay?
I have been doing a fair bit of exercise getting ready for my big walk. DSis and I did 20K fully loaded on Saturday, plus last week I did 4 x 5k runs. I went running this morning too.
I've made a start on Rudolf and Friends from HSC. Photo to follow. Have noticed that the printed pattern gives a single cross stitch in 310 black for the eyes, whereas the photo of the finished design shows a cream patch of 7(?) stitches. Maybe they changed the pattern. I'm stitching on green aida but the photo doesn't show it too well.

Hi coxy, thats a lot of exercise, you put my 30 mins of Tae Bo to shame Definitely weird about the eyes, the black cross looks much better, the photo looks like the ears are covering them. We got MRI results basically saying they see the lump but can't tell what it is. Carlisle can do nothing else so he is being referred to Newcastle for splenectomy, possible 1-2 weeks stay its a 100 miles from our house around a 2 and half hour drive.
