Betasam, excellent completed work, the fox is adorable and the dog in the frame is so sweet. Congrats on completing 7 pieces this month, i framed the bear using some light padding you mentioned as it was a glassless frame, it looked great but i forgot to take a photo, DOH!

Coxy, the fairy is beautiful, my favourite colour too. Jealous you get foxes in your garden, i've seen a frog, a hedgehog and a mole in mine, albeit the mole was in the mouth of my cat  :open_mouth:

Got OH's CT results, he has a 7x5cm mass on his spleen, we still don't know what it is. The calcium in his blood is caused by either a condition called Sarcoidosis or from a cancer. Good news his kidneys are continuing to improve, just got to find out about the rest of it now.  Managed some more on the Junction, my threads arrived too so that's all sorted. Making a crochet gnome with a friend as they don't like the "elf on a shelf" it's this one if anyone would like the pattern might do mine in purple though :)

    Take care ladies, talk soon.

    Morning everyone,
Happy February! Seems like January went on a bit. Here's to lighter days and the sign of life in the garden.
nmm - I'm sorry to hear that OH has continuing health problems. Hopefully they can control the symptoms and he is comfortable. Such a worry for you xx I love the Christmas gnome and have saved the pattern. Looks a little fiddly but might add it to my list.
I did some more on CF last night - it's just the background now - single thread, half cross stitch - and all in blocks of different greens. It's coming on fairly quickly. I'm not looking forward to the BABS - quite a lot of it unfortunately - but it will make the design stand out so needs must. Would love to finish it by the end of this weekend if possible.
Need to look at my next project. I will have a look today or tomorrow for the threads for PL Paris, as not sure I want to be doing the reindeer sampler just yet  :D
Have a good day all. Keep safe.

Coxy good luck with finishing CF by the weekend, never too early for christmas stuff, i'm usually last minute  :D  The gnome is a fairly straight forward pattern, i'm sure you'll be ok with it.

Latest update, doing the tree at the bottom, lots of confetti stitching so progress is slow.

Happy February, Candlemas and Imbolc to all. Congratulations Betasam. What an achievement to complete all 7 projects in a month. I have given up all hope of finishing the two Robin bookmarks let alone anything else! Well done. I love the Fox. Nmn so sorry to hear that OH has continued health problems but at least he’s being monitored and they’re getting more and more information. Sending many positive thoughts your way. Thanks for the crochet gnome pattern, I’ve bookmarked it as you know it’s on my list! I think the junction is taking shape. I guess confetti stitching is lots of isolated single stitches? Coxy good luck with completing CF by the weekend, looking forward to seeing the results. Oh well let’s get cooking, have a good week all xxx

    Hi everyone,
Lovely update nmm but I feel your pain with the confetti stitches. Keep going as it looks fab.
Charly hope you can keep going with the bookmarks. They are so lovely.
I have had a week of not much stitching which is ironic given I set myself a finishing target! We've been watching the Danish subtitled drama The Investigation. We binged it over 3 nights (6 episodes) and obviously I needed to read the subtitles as my Danish is limited! It's good - I would recommend it.
I did some stitching last night. More of the background, which is coming together well. The BABS will be the weekends excitement. In other news, I ordered the 9 DMC colours I needed for Pretty Little Paris. They arrived this afternoon, so I'm good to go on that one, once CF is finished.
Hope you all have a great weekend. It's DS1's birthday tonight so another takeaway on the cards (also had one last Friday for DS2's birthday), and we are celebrating him finally exchanging contracts today on his house. Hurrah!

Coxy, happy birthday to your DS1 and belated wishes to your DS2, happy new home too enjoy the takeaway :) Out of interest how much did you pay for your 9 threads, i bought 6 from eb@y for £4.80 which i thought was reasonable.

    Morning all, happy Monday!
We had snow at the weekend and it’s ever so slightly snowing again now. About 2cm has actually settled so just enough to make things look pretty  :)
I was very lazy at the weekend and only managed food shop, housework and rugby x 3. A little stitching done on Friday night but not finished - update below:

Not to worry - not like it’s for anyone special, only for me lol!
nmm - I got my threads from love crafts (used to be sew and sew). They were 69p each and £2.95 delivery. Not the cheapest but I wanted the real thing. Last lot I ordered from somewhere else and they didn’t come with the paper taped around them and definitely weren’t 8m long  :/
Have a good day all, stay safe.

    Good morning lovely people!
It's Wednesday - Happy Hump Day. I am happy because I have no meetings today, so I can get on with actual work. I have some mandatory training to do, and some admin for my two directors. Slow and steady I think.
I've finished all the stitching on CF and have started the BABS. It's all done in a chocolate brown colour which contrasts nicely with the green/lilac/blue tones. Trouble is, I've got a bit of RSI in my left thumb from holding the R&R frame. I didn't do any last night as wanted to rest my thumb. Ended up watching 24 hrs in A&E and a guy had amputated his toes with a lawnmower - AND THEY SHOWED IT!!! OMG so gross, poor guy.
nmm - I haven't managed to pick up the mag yet. Our local T£sco Extra have an extensive magazine section, but not this one. Will try WH$ at the weekend. Don't really want to venture out as we still have 3-4" of laying snow. Lovely to look at but deadly to walk on, particularly as we are on a hill  :o  Hope your OH is continuing to improve and is comfortable.
Hope everyone else is doing okay. The days just blend together and the weekends come around so quickly. Just need to keep positive folks, the vaccines are working their way to us all and better days are coming.
