    Morning everyone,
    Update on CF:

She's coming along nicely and marking the chart for this particular design is my saviour. No stitching last night as we watched the Pembrokeshire Murders (2nd part from Tuesday) and will finish it tonight with part 3 from last night (are you keeping up...?). Next we will watch The Serpent as have heard good reviews.
Hope everyone is doing okay. This lockdown certainly feels harder for most people - rubbish weather, less daylight hours, general fatigue, the list is endless. Thank the lord for crafting.
Betharooni - will look forward to seeing the jumper photos  :)
    Have a good day all,
    Coxy xx

Enjoying seeing the progress on CF Coxy. I think I’ve asked before, but don’t you mark your chart usually?
Looking forward to future pictures of the jumper Betharooni, I need more jumpers in my life as it’s been so cold here. Nmm love the bear and sorry but I think the BABS makes it. Nice that’s it’s dark brown not the usual black or was that a design choice? Hope DH is making progress. I’ve nearly finished mum’s card but I’m so tired this evening I won’t be stitching. Had to ask for a phone consultation with the nurse as I’ve got an infection and couldn’t sleep last night. Was very efficient, called at 8, sent photos, phone consultation with lots of questions then had antibiotics by the afternoon. NHS great. Last time I had this was 2014, probably last time I had antibiotics as well. Have good evening all. X

    Hi everyone,
How are you all doing? nmm - hope OH is continuing to improve.
Cold and wet Saturday here so I literally stitched all day. As a result, I spent all of yesterday doing housework and jobs, like the weekly food shop and ironing!
Charly - I never mark the chart usually. Although I did do so for the final push of Collecting Shells in 2019 as the background was lots of beige shades and every time I picked it up I'd spend about 10 mins trying to figure out where I'd been. So frustrating. Have run out of one colour already on CF - even though I'm extremely frugal with it. Good job I didn't bin my first attempt at it and could use the cotton from that kit.
Will try to stitch some more this evening and post an update.
How are your projects coming along?

ETA - hope you're feeling better Charly xx

CF is looking beautiful Coxy. I adore the pastel colours. I haven’t needed to mark chart for small projects but I did for the Bothy Threads and the sampler. I still mess up every time!!
Finished card for my Mum. Just got to mount on the card and finish my bookmark.
Antibiotics have dealt with the infection but boy I’m wiped out. Work is like pushing through treacle at the moment. It’s such a busy time and I’ve lost my go-faster stripes. To be honest if I actually had to leave the house I would probably be off!!

Lovely update Charly - I'm sure your DMum will love it too. Glad the ABs are working but do try to take it easy when you can. Not always possible, I know.
I'm having a flu jab today after work - first time I've been invited to have one. I'm 51 so not sure if this will now be the norm or just this winter? Have a catch up with BFF on the phone after, so probably no stitching for me  :'(
nmm - hope all okay with you and that OH is continuing to improve xx

Hi ladies, sorry i've not been online this past week or so, OH blood tests show his kidneys are slowly improving, which is great news, had hospital appointments last mon, wed & fri, so didn't get much time for anything. He has an appointment tomorrow with the specialist, so we'll find out more then. I have managed to do a little on The Junction, blending on the sky so lots of white and grey. Everyone's updates and finished projects are looking fab, i will try and check in again soon for a proper catch up :)

    Take care xx

OH update, it seems he has a condition which causes too much calcium in his blood, this caused the kidney problem, they are slowly recovering and the Dr says it should regain functionality but possibly some minor damage. He also has a growth on his spleen which might be a swollen lymph node, we'll know more after the CT results. BP is much better now, still some side effects from the steroids but we're getting there.

I managed a bit more on The Junction, still just the sky but getting used to the evenweave now.

Nmm so pleased OH is improving. What a worrying time. No wonder you’ve been unable to settle. Love the progress on the junction. Sometimes I find white is as hard on my eyes as black. But the evenweave looks a slightly different shade which might help.
DM’s card in the post and I’m planning to carry on with Robin between work this weekend. Next week will be better.  :) Cross stitch mounted on card.

Card looks lovely Charly27, i'm sure DM will appreciate it. The worst ever is black thread on black aida, i did a tiger cross stitch it was a nightmare, bright light and something light underneath helped a bit.
