Wow Charly27 that is some list. Good luck with it all. Do you have the PL London chart?A little stitching for me yesterday afternoon:Slow and steady wins the race 😊
Not much planned for today but will be trying out my new soup maker (gift from DMum). That’s the extent of my excitement!

Coxy she’s a cute little fairy. Yes I know it’s a big list but I’m going alcohol free now so more time to stitch and less time frogging!!!!I do have the chart for PL London. I’ve asked her to consider PL York and PL Madrid, as both have significance for me. I’m hoping I have quite a few of the DMC threads required. What do all you peeps do with your floss once you’ve completed a kit? Despite my frogging I always seem to have loads left! Here’s a piccy of the ‘I do’ samplers which arrived today and the Robin progress.‘One of our greatest freedoms is how we react to things’ said Mole.Cross stitch cafe TaDa Enjoy the Little Things, WIP Love cats, ‘A Year in the Life of’ HSC July-December and The Seasons graphic sampler. Hello,
I have lurked in the past as I am very intermittent with my cross stitching, but last year I found it was the only thing that kept my head 'quiet' in the midst of all the madness. Despite completing 56 pieces of stitching (mostly cards and bookmarks) I still finished up with more stash at the end of the year than I started with!
I am only setting a target of 12 pieces this year as I am being sent on a six-month part-time course from work and it will eat into my stitching time.
I will endeavour not to buy any more kits, or threads, this year, although I will probably renew my WOXS subscription, but only if I can get a good reduction on the cover price.
I do enjoy reading about your makes so thank you all for sharing them.

I love the 'I Do' sampler Charly27 - did you buy two kits or just the chart and you'll source the threads? I probably would've bought two kits for simplicity! The Robin bookmark is coming along - it's always so tricky stitching on such a small piece of fabric. I love your needle minder btw - I never did get around to ordering one.
I did a little more of the fairy yesterday and completed her face and some of her hat. It's slow progress because there's such a lot of blending of lilacs and blues, so you never really get a run of one colour - two or three stitches here and there is about it. Having said that, I love the colours in this piece. My bridesmaids had cornflower blue dresses all those years ago.
Today is my last day off before going back to work. DH has another week off as works for an Australian bank and they had an enforced 3 week shut down. He's self-employed so won't get paid, but hey ho. He will be finishing some DIY this week and taking (lots of) bottles/cans to the recycling centre - walk of shame.....
Today I plan to do some stitching and read some of my book. Dinner is chilli in the slow cooker so nice and easy. I'm also investigating flights/trains to John O'Groats for end of May for my big adventure.
Have a good day all.

Welcome betaSam, a huge number of projects completed but I know what you mean about the stash remaining without a dent. Mine’s like that for fabric!!! A six month part time course - yikes.Like you Coxy I’m back to work tomorrow but not sure about DH, depends on how many Primary schools open and what the LA decide to do. Hard to face another week without pay however much there is to do. Hope you’ll be okay.I bought 2 kits for the sampler as I haven’t got a stash of Aida/ even weave or much in the way of DMC/Anchor threads, only what I have left from stitching various kits. I do need to organise what I have though before I order more. The progress on smaller pieces is quite slow when there are no bigger areas to stitch in the same colour. I had to stop with the bookmark last night as I was finding it hard to do odd stitches in white and Pearl grey. CF will look amazing though when complete. It must be that and the BS which make it look like a painting. We’re having cottage pie out of the freezer for dinner but we do have to go shopping today. Enjoy the chilli and have a great day everyone.‘One of our greatest freedoms is how we react to things’ said Mole.Cross stitch cafe TaDa Enjoy the Little Things, WIP Love cats, ‘A Year in the Life of’ HSC July-December and The Seasons graphic sampler. Hi betasam and welcome - sorry I missed your post earlier - think our posts crossed. That's an impressive number of makes for 2020. I know what you mean about losing yourself in stitching to blot out the real world. Has been a godsend over the last few years for me for sure.
The chilli is now in the slow cooker so I'm off for a shower. On a go slow this morning!
Have a good day everyone,
Coxy xx

Welcome Betasam
Wow i love how busy this thread is already, lots of great lists and makes, can't wait to see the progress. When i got back into cross stitch i bought the whole set of DMC threads then put them in the DMC floss boxes, now i only need to replace what i use. If i have leftovers from kits i mostly use them for other cards/small projects and colour match where possible, if its DMC then i keep them on a numbered card (hole punched cardboard, nothing special)
My latest update on Beautiful Bear, the kit my friend found in a charity shop.

Morning everyone,
Good progress on BB nmm - and great that it was a CS find. I have a bag of charts and mini kits to donate, but no CS open in the town at the moment due to Tier 4. Looks like we will continue with these restrictions for a while longer - boo.
I'm back at work today - had the work dreads last night - but at least I don't have to schlep it to the station in this awful weather. DS2 is remote learning at home for at least the next 2 weeks, so we are sharing the kitchen table. DH still in bed and making the most of his bonus week off.
Hope you're all going well and for those returning to work today - have a good one.
