Oh Coxy do take care. I can understand you wanting to avoid the Covid soup situation and wanting to stay safe to see your Dad.
I bet you’re also trying to stay safe for OH Nmm. Boat Living deadline sounds very exciting.Only one not to have started cards yet. Abandoned friend’s card after spending couple of hours making a chart on graph paper! Made do with a card and a long letter.Planning to start this weekend.‘One of our greatest freedoms is how we react to things’ said Mole.Cross stitch cafe TaDa Enjoy the Little Things, WIP Love cats, ‘A Year in the Life of’ HSC July-December and The Seasons graphic sampler. Hi everyone,
I returned from Cyprus last night. DDad doing really well. He has an oncology appointment on Thursday but we have had the scan results and all looks clear. Hoping they will sign him off and then we can push for the heart operation date.
Unfortunately I remained unwell last week. Cough was still an issue Sunday/Monday and then on Tuesday I woke up to no smell or taste - still the case now. I did a LFT and it was negative, so will see what the day 2 travel test comes back with when I send it off tomorrow. I kept my distance from DDad and we went for coastal path walks every day. Weather was 22/23 degrees, so it was a shock to exit the plane to 8 degrees last night!
I took my Christmas card designs with me. Finished one, and half way through another. I need to get the card stocks though as gave my stash away during the first lockdown doh!
Looking forward to seeing your dino updates Flat_Eric.
Hope everyone else is doing okay.

Hi coxy & charly, i too am working on the cards, completed one just working on the second, it has been very chilly the last few days. Should be moving onto the boat this week and i've discovered i have way too much craft stash, lol.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:2

Lol nmm - too much stash! I know the feeling.... Good luck with the move xx
Still no taste or smell but my day 2 Covid test is negative yay! Means I can still see my bestie and her DH on Saturday for a curry
No crafting done since I returned from Cyprus as I'm making the most of DH being away with work. Had a nice hot bath and early night last night. Tonight I will do a face mask - feel like I need a bit of pampering given I'm not 100% well.
Anyone watching IACGMOOH? I was roaring with laughter at the eating challenge last night - Danny is very good value!!
Have a good evening all,

Hi Coxy welcome back to Blighty. Sorry to hear that you’re not feeling at all well. All the symptoms of COVID but testing negative which is good. Great news about your DD. Like you and Nmm, half way through second card now.
Using my stash of Aida and threads with designs from P*******t which I transfer to graph paper before stitching. Next year I may stitch out of a lovely book but I didn’t have half the threads and seemed out of the MSE spirit to go buying more!Nmm move must be feeling very real now. Sorry to hear it’s chilly your neck of the words, just turned in the last couple of days down here and I’ve been wearing my Nordic socks. Will it be cosy on the boat? Must be a happy balance between getting rid of stash and having things to do. How’s OH?
Not really into IAACGMOOH, but will be watching GBBO final x‘One of our greatest freedoms is how we react to things’ said Mole.Cross stitch cafe TaDa Enjoy the Little Things, WIP Love cats, ‘A Year in the Life of’ HSC July-December and The Seasons graphic sampler. Yup i'm watching IACGMOOH and i saw the GBBO final. OH doing ok, 2nd round of chemo was on monday, the side effects are back and he's started losing his hair, luckily he shaves his head anyway. The boat should be nice and warm, there is a diesel stove similar to a wood burner and we have an oil free radiator too if we need it. Due to have 70mph wind tomorrow night so we're waiting till that passes before moving onboard.
In cross stitch news still working on the 2nd card, it should be done in time, fingers crossed.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:1 -
Hi all,
nmm - good to know DH's treatment is continuing okay. Hope no other nasty side effects for him xx Don't blame you wanting to put off moving onto the boat. It sounds like it will be warm and toasty when you do move in xx
I didn't see IACGMOOH last night as we went to the cinema with our Limitless passes. Saw King Richard - biopic starring Will Smith as Richard Williams, father of Venue and Serena. Was a really good film and such an amazing and uplifting story of how he trained them to be superstars.
Will hope to pick up 2nd card tonight and will be popping to Hobbycra4t tomorrow for card stock.
Not sure if you saw the Black Friday offer from HSC? Too much temptation - love the Ho Ho Ho sampler but it's on black fabric - eeeeeek! Not sure my eyes could cope!
Have a good day all,
