    Hi all,
I finished the cards last night - please forgive the home made (wonky) look to them hohoho
The fundraising walk was very wet and muddy today. DSis wrote the directions and we went wrong several times BUT lots raised for Papyrus charity in Alex's name, and we all enjoyed ourselves, so all good.
    Now roasting a chicken!
    Have a good evening all

Hi Coxy and Nmm. Looking forward to receiving cards, handmade wonks and all. As I’ve said mine are über simple.

It’s been so wet today I don’t envy your walk but glad you raised some more money in Alex’s memory. Hope you well-earned chicken was enjoyed.

Sounds very cosy on board hope the sickness passes for you both. Nmm is yours due to motion sickness?

Charly, yes a little motion sickness, but its not too bad, due gale force winds tomorrow again.

I’m glad you like it Nmm and thanks for sharing a photo as I forgot! Glad to hear that it’s not too bad. I’ve only ever slept on a cross channel ferry and a canal boat. Neither of which move much.
    Hows the condensation?

Charly, the condensation is sorted now we have the diesel stove working and are using a dehumidifier. The boat is pretty stable most of the time, you can hardly tell its moving, we'll see what tomorrow's storm brings.

    Hi gang,
I posted my cards yesterday, so they are on their way.
Lovely photo nmm - nowt simple about that design Charly! Glad the condensation has improved nmm - hopefully the next storm will pass over without affecting you too much.
Welcome GreattaS - we love to see photos of what people are working on, so please do join in!
DDad currently in his open heart surgery. I have a candle burning on my desk, next to his photo. Managed to singe my spider plant ooops. Hope to hear news later today.
    Have a good day all,

Well you couldn’t make it up! DDad was prepped, sedated and intubated and then an emergency case came in so he’s asleep and stuck in ICU until 1pm tomorrow.

In more positive news, thank you nmm for the gorgeous card and gift xx

    Dad approves! Xxx

Thank you Coxy. Received my lovely card in the post today. I don’t know how you’ve found the time but I appreciate all the work that’s gone into it. Is it stitched on evenweave rather than Aida? I really hope all goes well for your DD’s surgery as soon as he can have it.
Nmm glad to hear you’re not getting dripped on and hope the storm passes you by. It’s blowing a hooley outside down here in Norfolk.
