Coxy, you're more than welcome, sorry they postponed your dad's op that's awful after he was already sedated.

Charly, that's a lovely card you have received from coxy. All nice and toasty here, its still heavy rain and strong wind outside but we're safe inside.

Welcome GreattaS, what projects are you working on just now.

    Hi all,
Great news that DDad’s op went well and he’s now in recovery - thank the Lord for that 😊
Thank you also to Charley for the beautiful card - couldn’t have been a better sentiment today!

  • Sorry to just drop in but had to say what lovely cards. I’m not a cross stitcher as I just don’t have the patience, I’m a sewist. May I ask how you attach the material to the card please?

Welcome flipflopflo, i use double sided tape and permanent glue dots, the dots seem to hold onto the fabric better.

    Morning,
Welcome gladys (I read your DF diary!) and flipflopflo - please feel free to join us - we don't bite(!) and love to see makes of whatever type, doesn't have to be cross stitch. I use double-sided tape.
Wow nmm the card looks even wonkier than I remember - please fee free to reposition lovvl! And glad the angel is making another appearance xx
The hospital are hoping to take out DDad's intubation this morning, fingers crossed. He had a good night so all good.
Last day in virtual office today as DH and I have tomorrow off. We are planning a trip to Co$tco because clearly our lives are THAT interesting. We are also at the cinema tonight now DH is free - House of Gucci postponed from last week.
In stitchy news I am sorting out fabric and threads for PL Italy which will be my next project.
    Have a good day all,
    Coxy xx

Thanks folks. These are a couple of my cards, I stitch the picture on a backing fabric and then stitch that straight onto the card.

  • Thank you very much @nmm 😊

I’ve just finished my FILs Christmas present and nearly finished cutting the material for my parents present, just got to cut another 1/2 meter of fabric.
