Hi all, glad you didn’t take offence Coxy. I’ve been quite tired and the weekend passed in a flash so a couple of days with no stitching. Picked it up again tonight, blooming clouds are a nuisance especially where the middle is on two pieces of paper.
Think I am over half way. I have to finish the Samuel Beckett bridge at the top and two more arches of the Rory O’More bridge at the bottom. Then complete the conference centre. Just left to stitch will be St Patrick’s cathedral, Dublin castle and the Trinity college campanile. Also a couple of chimneys on the RH side.
    No idea what’s next!

If its just us 3 for the exchange, i'm happy to make 2 cards, i love the card exchange and they are definitely coming to the boat :)

The latest junction update, it's moving along quickly now with big blocks of colour, i hope to finish it in the next few weeks.

That looks amazing Nmm. Like you I’d be happy to stitch two cards for the exchange.

    Hi gang,

Sorry for radio silence! DH was away again last weekend and I had a fair bit of time on my own as only DS2 here now and he works 2pm-11pm Saturdays and Sundays at McDs. Watched a fair bit of Netf!ix and other shows I'd recorded. No crafting done at all.

nmm - lovely update, such a serene design.
Charly - how's PL Dublin coming along?

Have had SIL working from here all week as they moved house last week and wifi not connected. She's taken over the lounge and DH and I are now in the dining room with our desks and chairs. Not sure if she'll be here next week too.

I've finished stitching the wedding card for tomorrow's evening do we are going to. Need to put it all together and get a JL giftcard. Nothing like last minute Larry!

Happy to do 2 x Christmas cards. I will need reminding of addresses please - can we all PM each other our addresses? Suggest posting first Friday of December - 3rd - is that okay with you?

Have booked to return to Cyprus on 14 Nov for a week. Dad doing well. Saw the oncologist yesterday and all good. Hope OH is doing okay nmm?

Off to research Christmas card designs!

    Hope all are okay.
    Coxy xx

Sounds good for the exchange coxy, enjoy your trip to Cyprus and the evening do tomorrow. OH's chemo starts 1/11, loads of appointments before then. We restarted our knit & natter group this week, 4 new people attended, it was lovely to get together again.

Latest update on the Junction, i'm onto the last page woohoo, i'm hoping to complete it by 31/10, fingers crossed.

    Hi all,

Great update nmm - last page whoohoo! Glad that OH appointments are getting sorted too.

We had a busy weekend. I was at an awards ceremony with DSis on Friday night. She won an award for her MH fundraising. Was a good evening and we also won a raffle prize yay! Have just been emailed to take a LFT as someone who attended has Covid....

Went to look at a uni on Saturday with DS2. He loved it and it will be his preferred choice. Went to evening wedding reception on Saturday too - great to be out amongst friends and to see our friend's daughter so happy. She looked stunning. I made a card and they wanted either vouchers or cash. Didn't organise myself in time to go to Wa!trose so transferred some cash across for their honeymoon. Photo of wedding card to follow.

Work is a bit slow today, and boss is off Wed-Fri so will be twiddling my thumbs. I have to go in to the office at some point as the space is being recommissioned as private offices and we need to clear our gubbins. Fun not!

Hope you all had a good weekend. Great that your knitting group has restarted nmm - jealous!

    Wedding card 😊
ETA: the colours are slate blue and silver which don't come across too well in this photo.

The junction is looking great nmm.  Wish you well with completing it by 31/10. That’s my deadline for PL Dublin too but not looking promising at the moment. Glad to hear you’ve had a date for chemo. Not too long to wait and hopefully he’ll respond to it well.

Loved the card Coxy as I’m sure the B & G did. It’s hard to get a decent photo at this time of year with light levels so low. It sounds like you’ve had a busy time. Well deserved award for DS for raising awareness of MH issues. Hope that made her feel good although sure it was very poignant.

Will pm address and post update.

Quick update. I’ve moved the chart out of the way which I have attached to the top of the design with my needle minder whilst working on Dublin castle. It’s at least four shades of green and I find it easier to have it in front of me. Feels like very slow progress at the moment!
