Charly27 said:Quick update. I’ve moved the chart out of the way which I have attached to the top of the design with my needle minder whilst working on Dublin castle. It’s at least four shades of green and I find it easier to have it in front of me. Feels like very slow progress at the moment!2

Welcome Kenneth358, are you working on anything atm? There is so many different designs available, its hard to pick a new project.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:1

Hi all,
Still no crafting done... however I have received your PMs re: the card exchange and will message you both my address. Same as last year but just so you have it to hand
I have been looking at possible card designs and have also chosen a new project - PL Italy - have majority of the threads, so will get on and order the remainder today along with any I need for the Christmas cards.
Lovely update Charley
Hope OH is doing okay nmm with all the appointments.
DH and I are going out for dinner tonight at local shopping mall. Will hopefully make a start on some Christmas shopping too as haven't done anything yet and time is marching on. I'm back in Cyprus 14-21 November so will be good to get some bits bought before I go.
Have a good weekend all - wet and cold here, and set to last all weekend - boooooo!

Just a quick update, i'm hoping to finish The Junction this weekend, i know i'm late, lol. My OH had his 1st chemo treatment on Monday and so far only mild side effects mostly a dry mouth, sore throat and jaw pain, i'm so pleased he has taken it well.
Take care everyone and enjoy bonfire nightCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:2 -
Bad form replying to myself, but I have finished The Junction, ta-dah
Closest photo i could find of the location, which is Fradley Junction.

Hi all,
Oh nmm that looks lovely. Well done on another amazing finishAlso glad to hear that OH first chemo session went okay, such good news xx
I've done precisely no crafting, but I have received all the threads I need to start my Christmas cards and also PL Italy. Just need to find the motivation and not be too tired.
We went to the cinema on Friday and saw Dune - not really my kind of movie but at least I got to swoon over Timothee Chalamet for 2hrs 30mins so that was a bonus...if only I were 30 years younger....
I went to the opera yesterday - get me! Went with some friends to see HMS Pinafore which is opera-lite! Les Dennis was one of the characters. Very good show despite sitting up in the gods of the Coliseum theatre!
I went into the office in London today. We have to vacate the building due to going through a consultation process. Was very cathartic throwing away paperwork and mouldy coffee in jars that has been stuck in a time warp since March 2020!!
Hope to start my cards this week as time is marching on.
Stay safe, warm and well everyone.

Nmm the Junction looks amazing.
Great job, bet you’re so pleased. Glad to hear that OH coping with the side effects of first chemo. My dad was the same thankfully. I’m so nearly there with PL Dublin, but want to stitch a BD card for a friend and then start my cards for you guys. Get you Coxy jetting about. Never been to an opera. Hope the tiredness eases. Possibly a combo of your emotional roller coaster of a year and the end of BST. TC both

Morning!
Have had a niggly throat and cough all week. Have done a couple of LFTs and both negative, but will do another tomorrow to be sure I'm okay to go see my Dad next week.
I have crafting news in that I've started the first of my two cards. Will be taking this to Cyprus and a nice small project to pack. I'm taking a case in the hold so scissors and needles allowed!
Have made the decision to forego a Queen tribute act tomorrow night - DSis got me and DH tickets for my birthday. Will send DS2 along with DH instead. All that singing and spraying is just Covid soup and I can't take the risk. Also have a drag queen bottomless cocktails with vegan cupcakes thing on Saturday lunchtime in Covent Garden. This is for a friends 60th and cost a fair bit. Think I'm going to have to forego that as well - just so paranoid that I'll catch something!
Hope you're all doing okay.

Coxy its shame you have to miss those 2 events but probably sensible, no point risking it.
I too have started on my cards, our completion date is looking like a couple of weeks from now, so we'll be boat living very soonCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:1
