Right I usually don't delete posts but I did a panic post last night, and it turned out to actually be unnecessarily negative. I just did my weigh in and it is a sts. So almost in the clear. Thanks all for being here and keeping an eye out. I will keep trying, and I will get back to reading soon as well.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin6 -
Good morning all,
I'm here to report a 0.5 lb loss. I'm good with that as it means my meals/life are a bit more normal. I had a call from the gp to say that my blood test on Monday showed that my liver enzymes are down by a third (they're still at a dodgy high level but better than they were) so I'm to carry on doing what I'm doing. I'm going to measure myself and write the results down some time today. I wish I'd done it at the beginning of the year but I think I was probably feelng too rough to care then.
In other news, I had my covid jab yesterday (key worker). I've had some strange allergic reactions in the past and I'm also asthmatic but I had the Pfizer jab and apart from a slightly sore arm, I've not had any problems.
Take care all of you

Welcome Couldsavemore I've added you to the chart and good luck
Ditty never feel that you have to weigh inbut well done on the STS - I'm activity avoiding the scales at the moment and building up the courage to get back on them
Monna speed reading meant i read that as still around and eating!! which actually i can relate toalthough yesterday was the first day in a while that I avoided the temptations hidden under the stairs - I have trodden a path to the door since christmas
Cranky I crossed post with you - good news about the test results and the jab - I'm glad you're feeling betterLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin6 -
Morning All,
roblou - I hope the Lent trial is going well. I'm nearly 6 weeks into my latest attempt to give up smoking (I seem to manage about 2 years and then stupidly drift back into it...) and am finding avoiding cigarettes a LOT easier than avoiding rubbish food!! I think the fact that you can't completely cut out food makes it much harder than giving up other things
lantanna Well done on the loss, especially when you were dealing with evil hormones
couldsavemore Welcome and best of luck
ditty Well done on the STS and I hope things are feeling a lot less panicky and more positive today
I know that it's for a good reason and that there are people who have it far worse but I really am starting to lose my mind with the never-ending monotony of lock down. When the highlight of my weekend is going to be a walk around a different park a bucket of ice-cream seems even more appealing than normal
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx5 -
Thanks guys, I think it's the holls @ home thats getting to me. Relaxing is slightly overrated! So I had a bit of a munch attack last night, but managed to navigate it onto a somewhat damage control type of path. Am still working on disconnecting emotions/stress with food, but does one ever truly get there? This morning I bought lots of fresh berries and made whole wheat spelt American pancakes. A true food festival and a hearty one but it fills you up both emotionally and food wise. And we won't eat dinner together today so I thought a cooked breakfast would be good and proper. And pancakes are our comfort food choice no 1, an American connection.
We have to pick our battles and I'll be going for a long run later. But I'm happy and to be honest not really particularly emotional or stressed about much else than the usual and quite relevant stuff.
