Congratulations on all losses and commiserations on all gains, I fill your pain
Lovely to see you back Dumplingtake things easy and let your lovely family take care of you
Roblou you've had a rough couple of monthsI'm familiar with the same cycle. We're here for the good times and bad so feel free to come and let off steam when you are having an attack of the miseries.
Monna many years ago I read buy a good plain chocolate and break it into squares and freeze, which I did and one Sunday afternoon remembered it was there and got my exercise that afternoon walking between the sofa and freezer liberating it one square at a time
Izadora I had to smile at your lent story I used to live next door to a retired Australian lady who lived to 96 (still driving at 95) she liked a glass bottle of wine of a evening and would give it up for Lent and go onto whiskey instead
she use to be frequently swaying on my doorstep late evening I think she was pickled which was why she lived so long. Before retiring she was the night sister at our local 'cottage' hospital in the days when the night sister was in charge of the hospital over night.
Blue I can relate to your hot cross bun tale of woe, sorting the fridge on Saturday I came across a tub of ricotta which needed eating, so I made ricotta and almond cookiesthe recipe made rather a lot so i've about half my freezer and boxed up some to take down to my sister and nephew, I'm afraid to say they never left the house.
At lease you were brave enough to get on your scales mine are gathering dust (which tells you about my housekeeping skills as well)
I hope you all have a good week

Just managed to go out for a slightly inane walk around the block to get my 3.2 M in for virtual challenge. Am getting up early again so will be in bed by 9. I can smell enchilada for dinner, def only one for me as had 2x lunches - but no snacks, oh except for the mini eggs that landed on my desk. 8-6 at screen, long day.
Feel very medium about announcement, about 2 months more of virtually no socialising. Glad I have signed up to work extra over Easter.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Afternoon All,
LilacPotato Well done on minimising the gain, I never manage to reign it in for the rest of the week if I've had a blow out.
Frith Well done on the loss, you should more than double your target at this rate!!
roblou Sending you loads of hugs. You've been dealing with a lot recently, which is going to take its toll, and I wish I had some advice on how to break the cycle but it's not something I've ever cracked. Take care of yourself.
lantanna Don't question why if you have not-hungry days, just enjoy them
Brambling I've never heard of or tried ricotta and almond cookies before but they sound divine
ditty I was a bit 'blah' about the announcements too. I know it's good that they're being cautious and allowing time to see the effect of each relaxation before moving on to the next stage but something as simple as being able to give my parents a hug still seems so far away.
I managed to stick to healthy eating yesterday, unfortunately the same can't be said for today. I've got full-on grumps and TOTM stomach ache so all I want to do is curl up in a ball and eat carbs. It's quite a nice day though so I'll force myself to go for a stroll down to the seafront at lunchtime. Fortunately everything's shut so I won't be able to buy ice cream while I'm there
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx8 -
Breakfast - yoghurt and forest fruits
Tea - cobbled together curry with a LO half an avocado! (Was in a hurry as I got a last minute text to go and get my Coronavirus vaccination).7 -
Well done on the losses everyone. I chickened out of weight myself this week, I knew it wouldn’t be good but it’s not stopped the eating 🙁 Tomorrow is a new day tho so maybe I’ll be better then! Xx

Good evening everyone
Here to report that by some miracle my eating is going well with DH really making an effort to make healthy dishes for me. Today I had some cereal and a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast (well, 2 breakfasts really as I had my first one at 4am) lunch was early too and I had a bowl of chicken soup and a slice of crustless quiche I made yesterday. Finally dinner was faggots, mash and peas which was really tasty. I have laid off all the snacks apart from an apple and I can't remember the last day I had some sweets or chocolate. I am super motivated to lose some of this fat and so I am very hopeful of a loss this week. Hope you have all had a great day, take care xx9 -
Poorly today (still glad to have had the vaccine despite flu like side effects).
Breakfast - yoghurt and blueberries
Tea - cooked by son2 was 2 bean burgers with tomato sauce and 2 wedges of cheese!8 -
