    Morning All,

roblou Sorry, when I've got lots to catch up on there's a tendency for me to mix people up  I also wasn't very clear, it's not that he comments on what I'm eating, he just has an annoying habit of suggesting Chinese/pizza/sticky toffee pudding etc. for dinner and I'm far too weak-willed to say no. I hope you enjoyed the afternoon tea from your neighbour and that the weather's kind enough to let you get out and about before your self-isolation.

short_bird They all sound like good aims and ones which I should try to tackle as well. I'm not sure I'll manage them all in one go though!

tryingtoavoiddebt I hope you managed to avoid the kitchen after dinner and best of luck for the rest of half term

Frith It's definitely different from your normal menu but it does sound lovely

lantanna Well done for getting back on track. I'm glad the better weather's improved things and you're perfectly entitled to moan whenever you feel like it. Knowing that you're fortunate to have what you do and that things could be worse doesn't mean that you're not allowed to be fed up with how things are.

I managed not to buy lemons for pancakes, yay!! Unfortunately, I bought nutella instead... :grimace:  I'll take the fact that I bought the smallest pot, rather than justifying the family-sized one as better value for money, as a win...  It's C25K day today and, as much as I really don't like running and dread having to do it, I know that I'll feel better once it's done.

Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx
No worries Iz, sorry me got wrong end of stick. But with you on the lovely food suggestions, I have no willpower whatsoever when it comes to salt and pepper chicken and sticky chilli beef!!! Sadly the afternoon tea was delish but I was good I divided everything into thirds so everyone got a bit I felt quite 😇.
I also made a decision that from the first day of Lent which was yesterday I would try to refrain from bread..(the devils food!) and chocolate. Not necessarily from the religious angle but more of a trial in self discipline. To at least try and make myself more mindful of what I am eating and why. I am quite committed in lots of other things but with food it’s another story. I keep telling myself...you gave up smoking for goodness sake!😂 not saying that I can do it but I am going to try.
Managed a run yesterday and although really windy across the fields it was great to be out. Going to go for another in a minute and hopefully tomorrow...desperate to get them in before lock-in.
