Well done everyone it's looking good 👏👏
Sirens It's just as well we love our furry tyrants as they cost us a small fortune 😳 I think my vet charges per tooth removed.Dumpling take care of yourselfwe don't want you in hospital again
How about a pamper day doing nothing Izadora? Bath, book, film or catch up tv and chocolate and a favourite lunch
I made the most of the nice morning and gardened for a couple of hours the soil is very heavy so I only weeded one longer border in the front and did some general pottering they are threatening snow here tomorrow and -3 so it will be too hard to do. It rained after lunch so a quick trip to pickup bananas and OJ missed from my online shop and a couple of naughties are now hiding out of sight under the stairs behind the emergency gin 🙄

Epic failure. Since I last weighed myself 2 weeks ago I have gained 1.5kg.
I've hurt my back and find it difficult to move and I'm hardly getting any sleep. Furthermore I have compounded the problem by stuffing my face with two packets of Tim Tams and some Coconut Rough.8 -
Good morning, Everyone
Welcome New Joiners 👋 Best wishes for reaching your targets.
Congratulations to All Lovely Losers! 👏👏👏
Well done All Steady STSers 👍👍👍
Commiserations to All Gallant Gainers 😢 next week is another week.
Lover of Lycra, sorry to hear about your back, hope you’ll soon be better. As far as I know, TimTams and coconut, taken medicinally, are calorie-free as well as comforting.
Weighing in with another 2lb loss. It seems a bit “feast or famine” this quarter, but I ain’t complainin’.
Yesterday’s Marvellous Munches were
B - bacon, eggs & mushrooms
L - salmon salad; tangerine
D - aubergine, fennel & tomato bake with cheese; pear
Today’s plan:
B - porridge with strawberries
D - grilled steak, mushrooms, parsnip, broccoli; mixed berries with yogurt
T - banana & custard; possibly a tangerine
Best wishes All for the week ahead.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Brambling, I just wanted to say thank you for your suggestion of tonic water as a "safe" drink. I felt well enough to try it this week and it's so lovely to finally have something other than tap water. I've always had just one cup of coffee first thing in the morning and that can occasionally be pushed to two but any more than that and my stomach starts hurting straight away since the gallstone started acting up. Thanks again

Brunch - LO chicken and peppers
Tea - leeks and chicken casserole
Will weigh tomorrow7 -
Glad the tonic water works for you Cranky
it's a drink I enjoy with the ice and slice and without the gin
well done Blue 👏

Izadora said:Morning All,
Jules - welcome to the group and, as others have said, breaking it down into smaller chunks sounds like a good idea. I know that I cope better with smaller targets but tend to panic (and then stuff my face with everything I can find) if I focus on the total amount I need to lose. Please don't ever feel like you need to apologise for anything going on in your head, if you're having any wobbles you can dump them on us. We're a pretty tough lot and can take it
Sezza Well done on the loss and yes, cancelling weekends would definitely make dieting easier.
roblou How are your husband and DF doing now?
Frith Good luck with ignoring the treacle sponge.
ditty Well done on the loss and you deserve to gloat for running two nights in a row. I'm with you on struggling to find motivation with working from home. I keep trying to remind myself that it's a lot better than having to commute but I still find it hard.
Sirens Well done on the loss and good luck with getting the batch cooking done for work lunches.
Brambling It's not good that they're expecting you to work late. It doesn't matter that you can't really go anywhere or do anything, it's still your time and you should be able to do whatever you want with it. I hope you manage to get your walk in at the weekend.
Well, it's all pretty much same old here and it's reached the stage where going to a different supermarket now counts as exciting
I've been mostly eating well but I have noticed that I'm reaching for chocolate out of boredom a bit more than I should so need to try to stop that before I get back into the habit of picking at it each time I pass the cupboard. It's really hard though because things are seeming very dull and never-ending at the moment and, no matter how annoyed with myself I know I'll be afterwards, it makes me happy at the time.
I've got a long weekend, I booked Monday off as have carried-over leave to use by the end of next month, and I'm not sure whether I'm looking forward to it or worrying about how to fill more time. As much as I don't enjoy work it is useful at taking up a large chunk of the day
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx‘It never hurts to keep looking for sunshine’ - Winnie the Pooh7
