Old Style Weight Loss 2021 - Quarter 1

Morning Everyone
Just checking in with a half a pound weight gain this morning. Not really sure why my willpower isn't there. At the end of the first lockdown I was very close to getting into the 11stones, and here I am back at the top end of the 12s and can't seem to get down. I'm not giving up though. I stepped on the scales this morning and I am back up to 12 10.5lbs. Feels like groundhog day. Its partly due to my bad back and not feeling like running. Bad back is getting better but I still have one nagging pain and there are crunching sounds every time I move my neck. I know its just time, but its frustrating. Of course if I didn't scoff so much it would help
This week I plan to get out and walk every day, twice a day for 20 minutes each time. I am also going to start my hand weights again - twice a day. I need to make sure I do my neck/back exercises and put on my heat/cool packs 3 x a day. There are a couple of work things on at the start of this week too which will be slightly stressful, but the exercises will help me to calm down a bit, so no excuses.
Have a good week everyone.

Morning all, reporting a 1/2 lb loss Brambling, thank you. Not sure how it happened but I’ll take it.
Snowing here today, must have had some heavy stuff over night so no run this morning. Did an indoor run for 15mins yesterday, every little helps I suppose.😉😁‘It never hurts to keep looking for sunshine’ - Winnie the Pooh8 -
Morning All,
I've actually made it online on a Monday for once! Well done to everyone - it's difficult when it's so cold isn't it?! I just want hot chocolate all the time! Checking in with a 1.5lb loss this week.
I don't post a lot but I read along every day, it does help I think. Thank you Brambling for keeping it running.
Have a good week everybody.

1lb off for me this week.
Well done to everyone on their losses and good luck to everyone starting out.
Off work tomorrow so I’m going to plan meals for the rest of the week to see if that helps keep me on track. It’s always easier when I’m organised!8 -

Just mooching past to whisper that I can now wear my jeans that are the next size down to my usual ones. I haven't been this size (or weight) since my early twenties. Thanks for the support everyone and take care9

Hi, can I join please? I’ve lost 10 lbs this year and have many more to loose. I’d like to set a target of 10lbs for the rest of this quarter. Thursday is my weigh day so I’ll be reporting my first weigh in then.8
