Afternoon All,
Well done for losses/STSs and commiserations for any gains. Cranky, well done on the size-down jeans, it's always satisfying when you can get into new/old clothes.
roblou Sorry to hear about DF's mum and I hope he's doing as okay as can be expected.
Sirens Ouch to the vet bill!! I hope the kitty's feeling better now.
dumpling Trying to fit healthy eating around what other people want for meals is always difficult. Is there any way the family would eat more in line with what you're having to make things easier?
Lover_of_Lycra and SandyShores I hope you're both feeling better soon, trying to diet is hard enough at the best of times but impossible when you're in pain.
lantanna Welcome and well done for only have 2 Roses!! I tend to struggle with limiting my chocolate intake, I either have none or the entire contents of the cupboard...
Seeing as I had Monday off my normal routine was all out of whack and I forgot to weigh myself, I doubt it would've been very pretty though. I was having a grumpy weekend so ate all the wrong things and don't seem to be able to get it back under control this week. Brambling, unfortunately the chocolate on Monday most definitely wasn't crossed out - I actually ended up painting my nails at one point just to keep my hands occupied for a while as it was the only way I could stop myself reaching for more mini eggs!! I'm slightly annoyed with myself for how spectacularly I've fallen off of the wagon but I need to try not to dwell on what's been done, dust myself down and try again.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx8 -

Hi Folks,
I havent weighed in for a couple of weeks I’ve truly slipped into CBA mode so I’m giving myself some time off. As if this lock-down wasn’t bad enough last week my phoneline & b/band died we had a slight covering of snow but that was okay. Then this week more snow than I’ve seen for years, the poor road clearance guys couldn’t keep up, even the dual carriageways ground to a halt with jack knifed lorries creating chaos. Hopefully the road and pavement gritters will get to our street maybe tomorrow or the next day, I tried the walk to the local shop yesterday but wont be doing that again it was so dangerous, almost did the splits twice. Last night the temp got down to minus 14 so keeping the house nice and warm in hopes of avoiding burst pipes.
Everyone seems to be doing really well, keep it up. I will pop in when I get my mojo back. Thanks for the recipe website Brambling I managed to pick up some smoked tofu last week so will try out one of the recipes soon.

Good morning all,
I have a 1 lb loss to declare this week please. I'm gradually starting to eat more normal meals, just keeping them very low fat and much smaller portions. I eat if I'm hungry but I'm making sensible choices. It helps that I can eat the same thing for every meal for two or three days so if I prepare a batch of something (low fat tuna pasta salad this week) I will just have small plates of that until it's gone. Todays culinary delight will involve chicken, so probably chicken pasta salad as that seems to be a safe option.
Take care all of you6 -
Thanks Izadora, he’s having a bit of a time of it bless him. At least he is amongst friends. Had an indoor run yesterday not sure it’s having the same effect but I was out of breath so at least it’s getting my heart pumping. I think I need to start my yoga again as getting stiff and achy, woke up with backache and my joints in my fingers are giving me jip. Think it must be the cold but I have definitely been moving less since this cold weather snap. I have fallen off my wagon and am now watching it disappearing into the sunset carrying my willpower and resolve along with it!!😂 Any way hubs is back to work today after a few days off for holiday so hopefully no more.....’shall we have a Chinese we haven’t had one since last summer’ and me going ‘I can’t, shouldn’t....oh go on then!’ We are all out of sorts at the moment, along with a lot of people I suppose. So the plan is to keep trying daily to do the right thing don’t beat my self up about the slips and keep moving forward.

Morning All
I'm weighing in with a -1lb although I shan't get excited as after slipping and sliding along all the ice this week, I finally slipped over and fell on a Chinese takeaway yesterday 😂
In my sort of defence, I think we (well dh and I) all needed a treat after battling ice and public transport getting to work and back.
Still that's out of my system now.
Today will be
B fruit
L probably ham salad sandwich
D chicken in a light cheese sauce and pasta
ooh and well done on the jeans cranky'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Morning All
I'm also weighing in with a -1lb loss. And its not a fluke - its been a few days now
My mood has definitely taken a little upturn and I'm not in that snack box half as much now. I have had chocolate two nights in a row, but I think it was the snacking during the day that was my biggest problem. I like Izadora's painting your nails technique - I think I'm going to have to borrow that for the evenings as I need knock the chocolate in the evening as well.
