Evening All
Well done Dumpling and Blue, brilliant losses.
I lost my way this weekend (again) full breakfast (for dinner) yesterday, today
B toasted malt loaf
D hm chicken kebabs with pitta and salad and oven chips, think that bread is my kryptonite, once I start I can't seem to stop, now feeling distinctly full and uncomfortable 😟
Back to work tomorrow have made some low cal tomato soup to take with me, so hopefully should stay on track and try to keep it going 🤞'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Well done @dumpling, that’s a great loss.
@ditty1234 I loved running, you’ll get to a point when your just doing a 10 miler 🙈, through COVID etc haven’t ran for a year and it’s awful trying to get back at it cannot run a mile, I’m trying but as you’ve started, don’t stop!
Morning all, I’ve surprisingly lost 1.8lbs so I’m super happy with that loss 😁, think weeks going to be interesting the local shop didn’t have any skimmed so the other half got me the only milk left, whole, because I get cranky without 10 daily sups of tea lol, so I’m going to enjoy it while I can, yum! Lunch is going to be leftover soup and dinner is enchiladas.7 -
Good morning, All!
Frith loose trousers can only be a good sign! Well done! 👏
SIRENS I know what you mean about the bread - I find it almost an addictive substance, which prompts me to prowl the kitchen looking for other carbs including sugars. The only carb I can safely eat is oats as porridge or oatcakes.
OSTL well done on your loss👏 Enjoy your whole milk while you can
Today’s meals
B : bacon & eggs
L : hm soup; yogurt with blueberries
D : chicken, carrot, cauliflower, peas; yogurt with raspberries
S : none planned

Sirens, I'm with you on bread. I think I could ear almost anything if it was between 2 slices of bread. I make my own as well, which makes it even more irresistible. I have spent a good 65 years trying not to eat bread, and crispbread s are no satisfactory substitute, but at my age (sorry to keep banging on about it) I think, "What the hell," and tuck into toast and sandwiches. I'll try to be moderate, but grim abstinence has gone by the board.

Oh dear, those 2lbs have gone back on again. I'm determined to keep on though so I'm hoping definitely going to have better news towards the end of the week."Think of many things, do one"

Morning all. Brambling signing in with a 2lb gain...... like a blinkin yo-yo. Been trying to keep up the running even in isolation but obviously not doing enough. Plus I am eating more bread which sadly although I love it seems to form a giant dough ball round my tummy!!😳 hubs is coming through it, DF I think is now in the midst of it but we will see, tests for me and him have gone off this morning. We are all still segregated with me being nurse maid and cook so trying to do the right things but to be honest some days are just meh!!! Will carry on and hopefully when we get through this I can get back on it. Take care all.‘It never hurts to keep looking for sunshine’ - Winnie the Pooh7

Morning All,
Brambling I'm not surprised that you resorted to raiding the cupboard under the stairs. I'm very fortunate in that we don't have all that many meetings and those that we do have are generally quite short.
Ditty That's a lot of exercise! I don't think I'll ever see 5K as being a short and lovely distance and wouldn't be able to do 100 jumps of skipping without having done a run, let alone as well as.
Frith Well done on the loss and the loose trousers.
Blue Well done on the loss, doughnuts obviously don't count if they're for medicinal purposes. I hope the jab went okay and that the trip to the farm shop made up for it.
Gingerlily Well done for the loss.
Need2bthrifty Dancing is definitely one of the more fun ways to exercise and something I really don't do often enough.
Oldstylethriftylady - Well done on the loss and I hope the full fat milk isn't too grim.
Monnagran Well done on the loss. I may not have reached your lofty years yet but I definitely agree that giving up bread is a step too far.
Lover of Lycra I've forgotten to weigh in so many times it's ridiculous and hopefully the meal planning will help.
dumpling Wow, that's an amazing loss! Well done for not stress eating and tackling things one at a time. I think it definitely makes it easier to stick to than trying to change too much in one go.
Sirens I definitely agree with you about bread. No matter how much I know that too much of it's not good for me, I could quite happily eat it for every meal.
Dominiquey Well done on the STS.
SandyShores Commiserations for the gain but well done for being determined to keep going and I hope this week's kinder to you.
I somehow managed a 3.5lb loss again this week. I definitely think that no alcohol is making a difference and I started C25K, for about the billionth time, as well. I'm not sure if I'd want to do it all the time but there have been a couple of days where I've only had one meal and I quite enjoyed being able to have pretty much whatever I wanted for dinner. I think it only works when I'm busy though and have something to distract me from how hungry I am for most of the day.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx9
