Good afternoon everyone,
This week I have a 3.5 lb loss to report please. I am eating low fat so as not to disturb the gallstone (verified by ultrasound on Monday). My aim is to be a low enough weight to be low risk for an op to have my gallbladder out if hospitals ever start normal function again. I haven't stuck to any eating plan this well for a very long time.
Take care all of you10 -
Cranky - I remember the gallstones diet well, even though it was over 20 years ago, and have never found anything quite so motivating as the lack of sheer agony
I hope they'll be able to deal with it sooner rather than later but I'm sure it'll be fine if you have to wait a while. I had mine for 18 months after I was diagnosed and, as long as I didn't push what I was eating too far, they didn't cause me any bother.8 -

Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin9 -
I can sympathize Cranky, mine was taken out 9 years ago but I lived with it for 8 years (fear of a operation
) I was able to manage it on a SW fat free diet and lost over 4.5 stone but eventually it just got mean and even no fat didn't work. Unfortunately once it was gone I started to eat again and put on all the weight plus a stone
The surgeon did tell me I had just avoided having to have a full op rather than the key hole. Just take care of yourself, I found tonic helped with or without the gin if i felt a bit yucky and not eating was as bad as eating the wrong food
Need2bthrify a 1/2lb is still a loss and I speaking as someone who avoided the scales this week and has weighted once this year. As i was once told a 1/2lb a week is nearly 2 stones over a year.
I wasn't doing too bad Wednesday and Thursday this week but a hour planned meeting turned into nearly 3 hours and I ate the chocolate biscuits I had lurking under the stairsluckily we don't do video calls and the mute button is a wonderful thing as it allowed me to go rummage for them
B - Porridge, banana and blueberries
L - HM Broccoli Soup, bread roll with brie
D - not sure yet but something with salmon
Have a good weekend all

Hi all a some what modest day food wise, am currently having a small breakfast as it seems to sit better than the interim fast, except if i have a very naughty dinner. My snacks today were loads of coffee, an apple and a small cup of hit choc. Ds insisted on cooking, and now he have gone to get pizzas - not exactly to plan. but I managed a 5 k run, and a bit of skipping earlier - can only do 100 jumps without my feet dying. So I'm just seeing it as strengthening my ankles at the moment. Happy weekend.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Good evening all
Congratulations all Lovely Losers 💐💐💐 Brambling you are so right about the half pounds adding up over time.
I had my Jab today, very painless, in fact I’m almost doubting I’ve had it except I’ve got the paperwork that says I have. I had to go a half hour drive for it, so took the opportunity to visit a posh (and expensive) farm shop another five minutes’ drive further on.
Today’s meals were:
B - porridge with blueberries
L - hm cauliflower soup; hm raspberry trifle (no cream) which used up the Swiss roll which was otherwise begging to be eaten with coffee
D - herb-crusted cod with fennel, tomatoes, and purple sprouting broccoli; yogurt with cinnamon
