Hi
Well done losers & sts-ers, commiserations gainers. Was my weigh day yesterday -1/2lb please Brambling.
There were 2 celebration meals last week both involving a drink or few plus dessert, I’m thankful I haven’t gained anymore, think I’m just a half pound heavier now than when I started this quarter 🙄Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025

Morning All,
Your right Brambling, I think I’ll be so much better when the weather starts to improve, this past week has been so wet, windy and bl**dy freezing out there. January for me is never a good time to start a diet but I’m finding this lock-down particularly challenging so rather than become a square eyed, sofa surfing blob I needed to focus on something else. I did have a particularly good ¾hr yesterday - dancin around like no one was watchin to some serious jockin - no G.
I batch cooked some chickpeas yesterday, plan being to make some falafel but I discovered there is a butcher & fine foods shop a short distance away in a part of town I’m rarely in so thought I might give them a try - I’m particularly interested in their haggis bonbons with whisky cream to have on Monday and for a couple of weeks I’ve had such a craving for some good old ox liver.
I've had my cinnamon & raisin porridge with stewed apples, but no particular plan for the rest, have a good day.

Morning Losers.
Can I record a loss of 1lb, please Brambling. As Blue says, Slow and Steady.
Well done Gingerlily, thats a whole packet of butter off.
Need2bthrifty, I speak for all square eyed, sofa surfing blobs. Get off our case. Having said that, well done on the covert dancing. I bet the neighbours loved it.
Although, as some on here may remember, I'm not above twitchin' in the kitchen to Chuck Berry myself. But I'm having therapy for that.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Hi just had a morning of I told you so - when I first started running I actually put on a lot of weight and probably because I was so excite I could eat more. Today I did a 5k club run and I celebrated it with a sturdy lunch, so food wise today might not be a win, but it felt great to be running through the 'suburbs' In my club tee and make room for people, get overtaken by other runners, skinnier and stronger than I have been for a long time.
Thanks to everybody here, and to everybody doing c25k, think about it - at some point 5 k might seem like a short and lovely distance :-).Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

But I'm having therapy for that.Monna, I would never presume to suggest anyone else was in the same category as me but welcome aboard we could set up our own exclusive little club = S.E.S.S.B’s. I thoroughly enjoyed the dancing, I’m a 70’s disco queen at heart and on a Friday $teve wright goes back to his DJ routes and has a bit of a party between 4 & 5, I love it.
Ditty, well done on the 5k.
The trip to the, new to me, butcher was a big disappointment it was nothing more than a meat supermarket. Practically everything pre-packed (polystyrene trays & plastic wrap) in large packs suitable for families, so I left and took the extra long way home via what I call a proper butcher picking up the small quantities of things that I wanted. So tonight's meal is fried liver & onions with cabbage & sweetcorn.

Tea will be - BSD bean burger with some sort of veg.8 -
I'm a loser, not because I lost weight but because I forgot to weigh myself when I got up this weekend. I have got myself a lot more organised with meal planning though which I think will be a big help.9

Good morning everyone
I am on here to post that I have lost 6lb this week. Cutting down on the snacking definitely helped but it has been a stressful week and this time I didn't eat my stress which is a major victory.
I am going to make a beef stew with dumplings in a minute for dinner tonight but it's quite a low calorie meal especially if you don't have any dippy bread with it. I am looking at my portion sizes to be the thing I tackle next. Childhood deprivation has left it's mark on me but I need to realise that the next meal is only a few hours away and I don't have to store food like some demented chipmunk. I am aiming to tackle one issue at a time this time instead of going all gung-ho and trying to change everything. I hope this approach will help the changes to stick and not be a five minute wonder.
Hope you all have a great Sunday xx10 -
Good day, Everyone
dumpling that’s an amazing loss! Well done! 👏👏 And well done to all other losers 👏
Weighing in today with another 2lb loss. No, I don’t know how I did it, either, what with jam doughnuts, chocolate Swiss rolls and all. But I’ll take it, no quibbling!🤣
Yesterday’s food:
B : bacon & eggs
L : soup, trifle (I’d made two, just added freshly made custard at time of eating)
D : sausages, mixed veg; yogurt with blueberries
S : none
Today’s menu:
B : porridge with raspberries
D : roast chicken, parsnips, leek, p-s broccoli; yogurt with raspberries
T : cheese (wildly expensive Isle of Wight soft cheese from the farm shop but oh so perfectly ripe) with celery and/or red pepperWishing you all a happy week ahead 😀“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️
