Good morning everyone, went totally off piste yesterday after a good start. In fact the week has been dreadful. Lots of contributary factors that I wont bore you with but it’s more of what’s going on in my head that affects what’s going in my mouth. 😳 so will keep on carrying on and try to do what’s right to keep my body healthy. It’s not all bad as I managed to get a run in yesterday which did my mental health no end of good.Plan for today

Good morning, Everyone

Commiserations to all Gallant Gainers! 😢
CRANKY well done on your wardrobe morale boost.
Brambling yes indeed, Bohemian was famous for beautiful glass since the Middle Ages, and lots of the most luxurious palaces had chandeliers made of Bohemian glass.Monna probably best keep your mitts off the frozen mince unless you have a Rodolpho standing by. Details details - Bohemia wasn’t only near Czechoslovakia*, it was the Czech part. But that’s just for geographical pedants 😹. We were speaking of behavioural Bohemia, no travel required. Not to mention Shakespearean Bohemia as described in “A Winter’s Tale”, which is set on “the desert coasts of Bohemia”. (It never was desert, and only had any sort of coast for about ten years in the 13th century.) “Pedantry for Connoisseurs” as one might say. I will now hang up my Reference Librarian’s hat again. 📚
Ok, enough of the badinage. My grub for today
B : bacon & eggs
L : sardine salad, tangerine
D : roast beef (from Xmas joint) with leek, celery, cauliflower; yogurt

Don't panic. All the muscles that you have been using need water to repair. It takes 2 - 3 weeks of a new exercise regime for it to produce weight loss results. In the meantime you'll probably be a bit more hungry because of the extra exercise. Try and stick to healthy snacks like boiled eggs or bananas and you should see a loss eventually.Lover_of_Lycra said:I thought I'd go really Old Style and walk the 5km to work a couple of days this week but somehow I have managed to gain 1kg

Morning all. Had a really busy week so I've been a bit lax. I've stayed the same this week, it's my weigh day today so it could be worse. 3/14
Stay safe everyone.8 -
Well done to keep going everybody, I have had a rubbish week, self inflicted - but the rain, the rain, the rain. Yesterday had quiche and cake, so will try to keep a low profile today and make a veggie rich dinner. And get out, out out for a walk, and possibly a run - even if that is bending the rules, but both the dog and I need our exercise.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Brambling said:N2BT have you thought of measuring yourself sometimes it can be demoralising not to see the numbers you expect but the inches are dropping off or in my case rearranging 🙄 and yes I still use inches when it comes to fitting the tape measure around me 😁
have a good weekendThanks for the encouragement Brambling I've never really been one to measure myself tending to use my clothes as a yard stick i.e. comfortable of not
I'd had a particularly
trying couple of days and perhaps my expectations were too high or I'm in too much of a hurry, however on
reflection your chart affirmed yes I'm doing okay, 4lbs in two weeks that's a good

This week hasn’t been great. I’m hoping to improve over the weekend but I’ve really been quite naughty. On the plus side, the box of celebrations is almost empty and I’ve managed a bit on the bike this week.Hope everyone else is having a good week. I’ll be back to weigh in on Monday 😬8
