NSD 5/15, 1500ml water, and finally a decent 30 minute walk before DS got up this morning. Still patches of ice here and there but clear enough to do a proper walk that got my heart rate up. It felt fantastic after almost a week mostly indoors.
My walk also seemed to give me a burst of energy - enough to wipe over floors, change bedding, clean the kitchen, dust surfaces, and put away the monster pile of dry clothes hanging out in the spare room.
Grateful today for a thaw, OH making dinner, and my latest TV interest - The Serpent - which I’m off to watch now.
Have a good evening turtles.

Today I am grateful for my free cafetiere, for a brisk walk on a beautiful frosty morning, for 2 loads of laundry clearing most of it, for dh putting the cmas stuff back in the ( oh so cold!) loft, for a good matter with my friend in Spain.

Didn't do the mattress cover but did get out for a walk before it went dark. Only onto the canal bank and as far as the nearest bridge but I enjoyed it. Climbing the steps and getting back down was difficult and one part of the path did still have ice ruts but apart from going to the postbox, it was my first walk since the snow started falling. The canal still has large slabs of ice on top and is still frozen in places - much to the disgust of three ducks who were standing on it. I saw a large chunk of wood, 2 bricks, a couple of substantial chunks of tree and a couple of broken toys which had been chucked onto the surface.
Today I am grateful for recieving an early birthday card (not opened it) for a lovely salad, for leftover bits from the fridge, for my walk.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -
Sunday- NSD 7/15. Yesterday was very low spend- went in for bread and milk and I didn't buy anything extra so that's more of a success than a NSD when I don't go near a shop.
Our road is still like an ice rink so an additional reason to go nowhere. Work for me and school for DD tomorrow so alarms will be set for 30 minutes early to allow car defrosting and some driveway/road sanding before we leave.
lcc86- 1 pony, 1 dog, 1 cat and 2 rabbits is our current total. DD wants chickens now we have a better garden, but I'm putting that off until the avian lockdown (as avian flu control) is lifted!
buffy- also in our rabbit gang- what's up with bun that an op is needed? Hope nothing too serious.
Grateful today for a friend being spotted as they dog walked past our house so we had a chat while DD and I hung out the window, some baking working out even though I skim read a step in the recipe so went a bit wrong, an empty box (the unpacking continues).7 -
Good Monday Morning - I will have to catch up on reading later, but for now I am grateful for that the weekend went well. Managed ot go for a walk and do a bit of digging in the garden yesterday. Lots of things dying in waterlogged clay. I kind of want to start afresh this summer, but not sure when to start to sew seeds - I don't really have anywhere to put them. Might ne worth it to make some glass frames, also to somehow manage the squirrel, who has used my pots for food storage! Acorns everywhere. Have a lovely day everybodyIsa help to buy: 950/3000 13%

Up to 3 NSDs now, got to go shopping tomorrow then back to NSDs, I'd quite like to get to 15 this month. Made £5 a couple of days ago by doing surveys. Just spending most of my day applying to jobs, why is it so long winded 😭6

Good morning...
Has been a few days. Been tied up with parents, and struggle to get online on my mobile to post.
I'm ok - finances all still on track and on NSD number 5
Still trying to get a routine together that is sustainable, productive and allows time for enjoyment. I need to work on discipline and productivity, and maybe less on escapism (gaming!)... time to face up to what I need to do to move forwards with my life.
Have a good day folks x⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Taking back my NSD yesterday as we did yet another top up shop. Lots of empty shelves in the supermarket but managed to get what we needed. No unnecessary spends.
Yesterday did some planning, put up some pictures and a noticeboard type thing which has been on the to do list for ages. Ploughing through my book.
Today I woke up early and read for an hour, then after checking it was open started down the hill to the gym mainly walking in the road (no cars yet) Almost slipped a few times and saw other people doing the same, did manage to stay upright in the end. Tried to get bf not to go (he has dodgy knees) but he wouldn’t listen to me, he has an unexpected day off and wanted to make the most of it.
Right, off to plan my evening classes. Have a good day everyone x

Sorry I've been quiet over the weekend.
Saturday was a very speedy day, as did proper shop and freezer storage shop too. In an effort to cut down on takeaways, I'm trying to make sure we have some freezer food in the house, for when we just can't be bothered to cook! Spent a small fortune, but, freezer food should last about two months (hopefully) and I have planned/taking a list whilst shopping so we shouldn't need any top up shops (unless we run out of milk, which is possible).Yesterday was a NSD so I'm at at 5/15. I'm off work this week, it was too difficult working with all the renovations last week, so I've booked this week off. I will try and make sure I keep on top of the house, so it feels like messy, and clean what I can after the plasterer each day. We have electrician round today, so will clean up whatever mess is made later.
I think I'll also try and go out for a run today, will stick to roads as it's a bit muddy to venture down the canal path and I don't want to fall over and break my neck!February Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00

Wow Shrewbie that was a good snowfall, saw pictures on tv here looked stunning.Today is going to be NSD 5/15.My week end updateSaturday - had grandkids and dd1 at my house. Had done a slippery walk before they arrived looked too pretty not to. Mountains in snow looked amazing. Then joiner turned up instead of Sunday, so trying to keep kids in another room was mad, too icy to take the little one out. Had to pay him for his work, very cheap I felt bad so gave him a few pennies more. Arranged for him to do some more work in 2 weeks time so I better get saving.Sunday - cleaned offices at work, small walk, bought kitchen tiles, popped into adlee for few things and then attacked my kitchen in deep clean mode when I got home. Who puts all that grease there yuck! My hands are wrecked today I can't wear gloves to clean in. Ate too much chocolate got a sore throat, chocolate is so soothing. Today trying to cut out sweet stuff.Grateful forKitchen cupboard back up. Can't put anything in it yet as fittings were left out to support the shelves - so I have to collect today. Luckily joiner had some brackets to put it on the wall.Tangerines.Cuteness of grandkids.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/226
