Help! Himself has inspected the wool shirt he’s dieting to get back into And it Has Moth!
So it’s in the freezer but what next & how to protect the rest of the wardrobe of expensive outdoor activities wool? He’s heading to some spray (off Amazon) & plastic clothes carriers but then it’ll all niff of lavender, which he does not love…
Seems in the heat people left windows open & in came moths?

What an amazing haul of bargains you have there, goldfinches! I haven't been to that particular smart suburb for ages - before the first lockdown in fact - but you have inspired me to go and have a mooch there again soon (especially as I have a secret free parking spot there).7

@goldfinches - amazing haul, and I have the same fishy ice-cube tray! I misyour original post as "Cornish scones" which speaks volumes about my cake obsession

There is no Sue Ryder on a Saturday, @Rosa_Damascena- the Nettlebed Sales stopped in March last year, and the hospice site on which they took place has been sold. I’m still in mourning, I don’t think I will ever again find a chazzer with bargains as delightful, unexpected, inexpensive and fun. I used to keep an ongoing list in a notebook of things I wanted, and without exception within a couple of visits I would have ticked them all off. The sales raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for the charity each year, so all the staff and volunteers were very surprised that the Sue Ryder organisation didn’t attempt to keep the event running in some form or other elsewhere. A sad loss 😔5

@DigForVictory - try the MothStop sprays, powder, traps etc. I got mine from Lakeland and it was extremely effective when I had the same problem a couple of years ago.
@C_J - the Helen and Douglas House Hospice shop had a wonderful range of clothes all beautifully laundered and pressed as well as being nicely displayed too, really lovely to look through.
To my eternal regret I never made it to the Nettlebed sales before they were done away with and I did hope that someone would offer a new space to hold them but there has been such a gap now that it doesn't seem likely which is such a shame.
@Rosa_Damascena - you and your scones did make me laugh. Lovely to hear that you are within sight of your new, stylish home and hoping you'll post some photos on the DIY board for us all to enjoy.
