I have fallen off my Denby diet. The Acquiz committee did push, mind. The cancer research shop was given the household stock of Denby Chevron. Not just teapot, jug, cups & saucers but the 60s wedding list stuff, the handled casseroles, the dinner plates, the tea plates, the celery dish, the oval & oblong platters, the oval dish, and then the lidded soup bowls… All for less than the price of a takeaway curry for four! The encore teapot is still sitting in the shop there, gently reproaching me.If only I could buy (or rent!) willpower…6

I didn't think I had a problem I had to pack up the contents of my kitchen. The heavy but fragile dishes that were neatly tucked away in pan drawers turned out out to be the biggest hassle. They have their uses but in fairness haven't had a proper outing for nearly 2 years. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.6 -

However, it was an amazing haul & it even turned out to meet Acquiz Committee guidelines! So two more crates were carefully repacked...

@Lucy5781 - very annoying when things are wrongly labelled isn't it. Are you able to return it to the shop? A majority of my local chazzas offer returns for refunds on clothing now that it isn't possible to have a fitting room and some even say that you can return purchases to any of their branches which I think is really helpful.Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Jan 2012: £16,000+ [STRIKE] Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Sep 2013: £13,023 [/STRIKE]

Waving enthusiastically to everyone.
I'm really enjoying hearing about others finds and especially relishing the photos which are so much better than my rather limited imagination. So here are two photos of my finds from Saturday and today.
First, I was thrilled to find this blue trivet in the Age UK shop for £1.99 as I have one which gets a lot of use and when I bought it years ago, from Wilco I think, it was the only one in stock and I never managed to coincide with another. As you can see they are identical except Saturday's find (bottom one) is in better condition.
Then, this afternoon, I found these things in the Oxfam shop.
In a slightly spooky twist of fate as I left my front door this afternoon I had been thinking to myself that it might be a good idea to buy a fold-away waterproof in a pocket type of thing to keep permanently in my bag as the weather has become so changeable lately and hey presto there was one in the tights basket for 99p. I plan to take the sistema container on my first blackberrying outing of this year tomorrow as it's lovely and shallow and just the right size for my hands. The spaghetti measurer is still in its original packaging and the tiny frying pan just needed a clean around the joint between the handle and the body.
Happy hunting to all, goldfinches.

Another 3 houseplant pots joined the collection for me, at £1 each.
I'm still umming and ahhing over another one I spotted.
I fear the difference in prices between shops has spoilt me.
One shop had one at £3.50, quite nice, but a frequently found size, so I left it.
Visited another shop, and found 3 at £1 each of similar size.
So lesson here, check the cheaper shop first perhaps ?
Also been given the mission of finding 32inch waist shorts for DH but specifically longer 'skate boarders' length ones... on or just under the knee. Fear it may be easier to find unicorn droppings but will keep on the hunt.
