Recents finds:
Gap button fly high waisted skinny jeans £3
Gap cream coloured needle cord skirt £2
M and S denim shirt dress with long sleeves and a full skirt: similar in style to the dresses Kirsty Allsop wears on Location Location Location £8. I’m not mad keen on the buttons so may change them.
Next grey tee shirt £1
BNWT M and S white sports bra £2
Digger and motorbike toys for DGS 99p each.
BN lint roller 99p
Jack Wills still sealed tub of Hope Cove body moisturiser 99p. I spend a lot of time in the garden and on the beach so use a lot of moisturiser.
Pretty Little Thing black top £3.50
I also saw a lovely leather backpack which I may go back for and a New Look Denim boiler suit that I may be able to try on tomorrow. It £15 so I only want it if I know it fits.

No wonderful finds to report as I've not made it into a charity shop for yonks.
But everytime I do I say to myself "i must not look at the scarves, I must not look at the scarves" but inevitably do. Always a happy day when I find a colourful silk scarf for just a £ or 2. Which reminds me I should look for a way to safely store my collection. Currently they are a big clutter on a clothing rail which means I lose ones for months on end until the churn brings a new selection to the surface. And of course I really should give them a bit of a wash just to get the dust and whatever off them - the last year has really reduced the times I have needed to wear one.
After that it's art books and cds while the other half is looking over the LPs or German hock glasses or cutlery. (what is it about cutlery???)
I can't even contemplate buying shoes, knickers, swimsuits etc. Bit of a germ/too close contact phobe I guess. Tell me I'm not the only one!!

@Brie I keep my scarves in an Ikea pocketed shoe holder on the back of my bedroom door.
Also, like many I would only buy underwear or swimsuits if complete with tags. Shoes aren't an issue for me as they will have been antibac sprayed inside in the shop and they always get an antibacterial spray when they get home.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I seem to have hit a lucky streak all of a sudden.
Today in my favourite BHF shop I found a lovely liberty print skirt by Rowlands of Bath for the incredibly low sum of £5.99 so I pounced. It fits beautifully and is fully lined. Then looking along the rail I came across two t shirts by & other stories, £4.99 ea, a pretty Per Una thin polo neck, £5.99, and a J Taylor sleeveless top, £5.99 that makes a twin set with a cardigan I already have. On the bottom half rail I found a classic M*rks chino skirt, £2.49, and a pair of Divided cargo trousers in a pale biscuit, £5.49.
I then snapped up a set of measuring spoons that include the very hard to find 1/8th of a tsp, £1.50, and a click together ice cream scoop, £1.99, along with 3 collections of recipes published by Australian Women's Weekly namely Beautiful Biscuits, Cakes and Slices and Baking, £1.50 ea.

Popped to town this morning but both the boiler suit and the leather rucksack had been snaffled by others. I reason that had I really wanted them I would have got them there and then. On the plus side I’m £24 better off so can spend it on other bargains.7

Well if the Ikea shoe holder has 16 pockets and I put 4 or 5 scarves in each pocket it might just work....or have one on each side of the door!!

I think mine has 20 pockets (it's a large, old one) but you may struggle to get more than 2 scarves in the pockets. I guess it will depend on their size.Brie said:2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I could think of buying shoes - partly because even buying new doesn't mean nobody else has put their foot inside. Though I haven't bought shoes from charity shops in the past I now realise that if one wants vertiginous heels for a one-off special occasion, a charity shop is the place to try.Brie said:....

Fruitful day from BHF and Sue Ryder.
3 plant pots from the two, for the total of £10.
One still had its original store price tag on of £14.99.
Saw a shirt in another shop that I might pop by and have a look at tomorrow.
