I dropped by a furniture chaz yesterday as I have much to be collected and added to my collection of kitchen goodies, including a 600ml Ikea glass tankard, a demi-lune chopper and a ravioli set complete with its own rolling pin - to go with the pasta maker I have never used
- for £2.50. On my way to investigate a trades I parked opposite a chazzer I hadn't visited before - and couldn't resist picking up this new looking Yumi raincoat for my little niece (for when she gets much bigger):
RRP: £36 - mine all mine for £2.
Eta: have checked out the ravioli set since I posted and it too retails at £36!! I was in two minds but what swung it for me is that I won't see this again in a hurry. I shall be happy if I use it once and then donate it back.
I have found a suitable egg-free pasta recipe whilst I'm motivated - won't use it until the autumn when I make butternut squash ravioli. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.9 -

Set of 4 tiny plastic pots with coloured lids and small snack box all still in packaging £2.50.
I have loads to donate but I might try to avoid going in a CS today!

Floss said:Could I just suggest that maybe a couple of times you might cobsider paying the extra donation in lieu of the money you have NOT spent while we've been in lockdown?A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.3

👋 so nice to hear you all out and about bargain hunting!I had my first vaccine today, which was amazing. So well organised and brilliant volunteers.I haven’t been on a charity shop run yet. Am going to have a big house clean and sort tomorrow, go to the tip AGAIN and rationalise and better pack the clothes I want to donate. If I do all that then I am going to reward myself with a trip on Friday afternoon. Can’t WAIT.8

I'm back online again after being without internet since 8th due to ghastly service by Open Reach (who really should be renamed Closed, Busted & Incompetent -inadequately staffed-) and am frantically trying to read at double speed to get up to date on all the threads I like but couldn't resist a peep at this one.
I visited my favourite BHF shop this Monday and spent a generous number of pounds on books and kitchenalia and will come back soon with lists and photos for your delectation.
I'm so sorry to have missed the resurrection of this thread and thrilled to read about everyone's bargains, goldfinches.7
