Hope everyone is well

Found a post on fb to order bags from Red Cross to then send back with up to 10kg per bag of clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery etc via a Yodel collection point.
They post a bag to you, you fill and print out label, or take label page on your phone to collection point and it gets sent off.
Looking forward to sending off some stuff that's been accumulating here! (Children grow, and there's some things I can't pass on to friends or nursery!)
I really am looking forward to April 12th, kids will be back at nursery so I can visit CS straight away! Need to look for more things for the kids and also work stuff for me as I'm still looking to get back to work!Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Jan 2012: £16,000+ [STRIKE] Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Sep 2013: £13,023 [/STRIKE]

I should imagine charity shops will be inundated with unwanted goods once they open.
however they may then have to “quarantine” theses donations for a while.
I ordered something from EBay, and it was a new garment, as they had a large stock with various sizes from a well known chain store. apparently they were a charity called Sense.
I’d never heard of them, but they support deaf and blind people, which is a heartbreaking disability.I was delighted with my purchase , and there included was a leaflet to post to donate for their charity shops.
again send for a free posting label and drop the box/bag off at a local click and collect shop.
There are so many worth causes and we have about 7 charity shops in our small town.
thought I’d try somewhere different to donate to, also dislike seeing my old stuff in local shops.
Been buying and selling loads on my local Facebook site. Think I’ve met up to either buy/sell stuff in every local supermarket car park!7 -
We've lost one of ours since Christmas. I'm not surprised though, for some daft reason they'd decided to stop stocking any children's clothes (highly in demand in this area, and it was a Banardos!) and had loads of formal, night out and work wear stocked instead... I'd also noted certain items on the rails in there for more than a year pre-pandemic.Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Jan 2012: £16,000+ [STRIKE] Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Sep 2013: £13,023 [/STRIKE]

We've lost an Age Concern shop near me, but will hopefully still have shops for local hospice, Save The Children, Mind, Children's Society and Claire House (regional children's hospice).2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I passed by my favourite BHF shop today and there is a notice in the window saying that they will reopen on 12th and the formerly bare shelves visible through the glass have been filled with an enticing selection of goods. I can't wait to go and have a good rummage.6

I drove past a couple of chazzers - and a barbers - around 7pm on Palm Sunday evening and was surprised to see lights on and people at work getting their businesses ready 2 weeks in advance.
All hail the chazzer-reopening next Monday, I shall be there with my multiple boxesNo man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.4
