Like you @Miró I have some money hoarded anent the time we are welcomed back to bargain hunting again and I have really missed seeing everyone's finds and commenting on my own.
The librarian told me that the library is hoping to reopen the same day so that's next Monday fully booked in my diary. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.8 -

Hatfield, amazing for £1-£3 per item buys, two of the five shops are 'outlets'. Potters Bar good, Welwyn was always really good for children's clothing especially due to the local shops there that it all got bought from before being passed on. There's John Lewis, H&M, M&S, Next, Monsoon, Sainsburys and formerly a Debenhams all in the town centre so plenty of pass on. Stevenage has a couple of places but nothing dramatic.
Hope that helps!

I’m up and running:
Red leather bag the lining has a repeat motif Made in Italy but don’t know if that’s the brand £10 and lovely soft leather. The handles are long enough to go on the shoulder. I thought the longer strap was missing but found it inside when I got home.
2 chunky blue glass tumblers £1
Silver belt £3
Dark grey H & M vest £2.5010 -
Wheeeeeee!! Shops open, people wandering about with a smile on their faces....life has a semblance of normal again! Fortified by my recent 2nd Covid jab it was a real joy to see the town open and, (mostly), thriving again. Hit the chazzas of Ripon at lunchtime today but apparently they had been looted and pillaged from the minute they opened.! Anyhoo was delighted to splurge on a pair of BNWT Tu black tapered trousers for £4, (originally £16), which proved to be a perfect fit, (still no trying on allowed). Then I spotted a pair of M & S ivory, Roma wide-legged trousers, again BNWT and priced at £6. Left them at first cos they were described as 'short' and I am not but on reflection, in that trousers seem to be fashionable at all sorts of lengths these days, I tottered back to purchase at £6. Really nice fabric, (not see through(!) and with gold buttons festooning the front pockets in a nautical stylee, (will be fabulous darlings when I next park my yacht in Monte Carlo
). Finally my best find....well actually 'the bloke' found it...was a walking type jacket by Lolë, (apparently Canadian brand but never heard of them before). Green grey colour, waterproof and breathable, quilted inside with an amazing array of pockets and zipped sections. Have a feeling it must have been horrendously expensive originally but as new and priced at £12 in the chazza. Will be interested to see how it stands up to a Goretex jacket.

Went out and did a little charity shop shopping which was great. I don’t know if anybody else had this experience but one shop I spent £4.50 and was asked if I wanted to round it up to £5.00 and then another my bill was £12.40 and was asked if wanted to add 10p to round it up to £12.50. I didn’t mind the 10p but I declined the extra 50p I just wondered is this a thing that’s happening now? I know the charities have had a hard time over the last year but I spend a lot of money in charity shops and think that’s enough without being asked if I want to pay more11

Yes I've had this happen too....also, (before lockdown), I was asked if I would like to add an extra £1 on my bill as the charity, (can't remember which), wasn't receiving as much funding due to the pandemic.7
