A green leather Fossil purse in need of a bit of love £1.50
jane Shilton croc leather square toed loafers£4
A Topshop faux fur lined denim jacket £9.99. Don’t know if others do this but I often find something in a CS and then later find a better version in a CS to replace it. This is my 3rd faux fur lined denim jacket and I feel I have now reached faux fur denim jacket Nirvana. Previous versions have been redonated.
So, now I’m effectively in lockdown again I’m going to have another clear out, take lots of walks in my lovely Seasalt coat and continue to work through my stash of actual and Kindle books and wait for better days.
Potternerd, I do the same - upgrade stuff and then resonate the previous version. Am on trainers 5.0 and I have soooo many padded jackets - must rationalise those. Hope everyone is keeping their spirits up. I’m doing dry January so that plus no charity shop hunting is making life pretty bleak. Thanks goodness for the puppy. 😀7 -

I remarked elsewhere, and likely back in the 2012/2013 era of my debt free diary, that one of my best coping strategies when I was mentally in a similar state to now, was to go for a walk (excersize) and rummage (re-focusing my mind into a search pattern) through the CSs. If I found good bits for a couple of pounds each I got the endorphines of the purchase without seriously damaging my finances but also knowing it was actually a charitable donation as well, double good points.
I'm honestly really feeling not being able to go. Sep-Dec my kids were both in Nursery & preschool three mornings a week and that time alone (less than three hours) was so significant to my mental state with a walk to the shops on at least one morning.
They're pretty well behaved kids and and easy to occupy but it's non-stop pretty much, from 6am - 8pm.Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Jan 2012: £16,000+ [STRIKE] Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Sep 2013: £13,023 [/STRIKE]

It’s the exercise I miss as much as the bargains. Amazing how many steps you can clock up just walking to and then pootling about the local chazza shops. I was managing about 12,000 steps per day on average but now down to only around 2,00010

Pottering around at home or even marching up and down the staircase which I've been doing just isn't the same is it.
At this rate I shall be reduced to doing the housework more than once - and if that happens the heavens really will fall!11
