Hello
wonder if any of you can help out. In the last lockdown am pretty sure someone mentioned a charity that allowed you to send items in to them. Cannot find the post. Am bleary eyed with lack of sleep
Over on the decluttering thread we are stumped as to where we can take sorted/unwanted clothes etc........
many thanks

Lawleys 'Cheerio' pottery tankard, St Wilfred's Hospice 9.50

Hoorah for the decluttering from me too. I've got as far as deciding that one tin opener can go but haven't actually got it outside the front door yet, watch this space, goldfinches.

Doh!!! Thought the thread had gone quiet.....didn't realise you had all upped and moved house!
Anyhoo.....in anticipation of another complete lockdown I had a last whizz around the charity shops last Monday. Came home with an Autograph jersey dress, black and white 'op-art' sort of pattern, £5. Black velvet Autonomy dress with crissy crossy draping into an empire line and elbow length sleeves, also £5. Dunno when I expect to wear these bloomin' things.....harrump! A Caldene pure wool tweed riding jacket in a moss green/tan/navy check and with a navy velvet collar, b/n I think as the pockets were still stitched and a plastic bag with spare buttons dangled from the underarm area. Priced at £12.50 and found it selling online at £129. Finally my fave find... a bo-ho stylee midi skirt by East in shades of brown orange and yellow, pure heavy silk and with some intricate pleating, very swishy and swirly, half price and £2.50.
Now feeling miserable at the thought of no more bargain hunting for the foreseeable futurebut the main thing to be grateful for is to still be virus free I guess - as I hope all the other chazza chums are too).
