sugarbaby it was good but my phobia (you can probably work it out if you watched it) made some bits very uncomfortable for me, I could feel my heart beating and it just got unbearable. I suppose you have to say it was well done to get that reaction.5

Positive thought for today:
See your setbacks as opportunities, not problems. If you approach them with positivity they will teach you that you're stronger than you realize (Katie Piper)4 -
How are you feeling today Wednesday? 🤔
The facewash is on its way pixie. I bought the dry to normal. I think my skin would be naturally more dry but constant moisturising seems to keep it feeling good. This brand is quite a bit cheaper than the Clinique so I'll try it and see if it's a suitable alternative. Ideally I like something with a bit of foam as it seems to work better with my complexion brush.
I've had a good pamper session this morning including a bit of a defuzz. I think we've all done really well on here to keep our standards up through lockdown. I know that even when dressing casually I still feel smart. There was just one day when I CBA to wash my hair and I felt really out of sorts.
I did read a bit yesterday afternoon after our walk. The book is getting rather silly but I always find it hard to abandon a book once I've started it. That's strange as I never feel the same with TV programmes. 🤔
Dry and bright here. We're thinking of provisionally booking an alfresco meal with friends next month. It might not happen but it is something to look forward to. 😊 I'm curious whether all the new cases of Covid are in the age groups yet to be vaccinated.6 -
Beautiful morning here, we have been out for a walk on the prom. It seems so normal, people out for a walk, buying coffee or chips or ice cream, children playing. Really uplifting to see life going on.6

I'm feeling absolutely fine Maman.
My arm doesn't even hurt where I had the jab, weirdly enough. I did take some more paracetamol this morning as a precaution.
It does feel more normal Pixie. For me I think it's walking around and hearing the kids back in school playgrounds too.
I don't know if it was getting the jab yesterday or the fact that the days seem much lighter but I'm starting to feel much more positive about life. I just went for a walk and only needed a light cardigan.
I'm definitely back on healthy eating and I'm making jackfruit tacos for lunch. Jackfruit is something that vegans use as a substitute for the texture of pulled pork if anyone didn't know what it was. Not that I would have any idea what pulled pork was like now as I don't know what year I would have even eaten that.
I'm frying mixed peppers and onions in a little bit of olive oil with chilli powder, coriander and paprika and then using the end of a jar of pasta sauce to cook the jackfruit with it. I'm having lettuce, tomatoes and avocado with the jackfruit mix in the tortilla wraps with salsa and lime juice over it. Jalapeno peppers too. I was going to do it for dinner but I have decided I want it now. I do have some leftover sweetcorn rice salad but I might not need that as well.
I'm wondering whether to book up an outdoor restaurant or wait until I have my second jab.

Great news Wednesday. It is uplifting to feel a bit of normality. I had no after effects from the jab so I hope you continue to be OK. I'm just looking forward to my second jab, it is 5 weeks away not that I'm counting you understand.6

Positive thought for today:
Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish (John Quincy Adams)4 -
I went to Asda earlier as there were various food items I needed. I bought the Garnier banana hair masque for £3.49 (thanks maddie) so will try that soon. IIRC all the 'flavours' were on offer.
Just pottering about in the kitchen, listening to audio book. 😊5 -
I used the hair masque today but decided to try it as a leave in conditioner as it is one of the uses they recommend. It is a bit heavy for my hair so I won't be doing that again.
I'm feeling really fed up. Been waiting a week for my quote for bathroom, plumber has just told me he has had a very bad year with covid and has decided to take a job he has been offered. I understand of course, he has to earn to keep his family but I'm back to square one, thought I'd found someone really good and he came highly recommended. He has recommended someone else so tomorrow I start again. I've been trying so hard not to be impatient, checking my emails. Feeling sorry for myself.
We went to a different beach today and had a nice walk. Not as sunny as yesterday but nice to get out.
I'm going to go and sulk now.7
