Chanie - I read that 90s fashion is hot right now.

I went out for a walk last night to a nature reserve with some people. It was nice. I walked to meet them beforehand and walked home so I did 3 hours walking in all! 

I am going out to the supper club Friday. A couple I have met a few times now are making me three vegan dishes to eat. I will just turn up with my bottles of wine and houmous and crisps as I don't really cook!


I have the live music thing on Saturday night. It was good to see live bands the other weekend although it seemed very loud to me. I am out of practice for going to gigs again.

You're really getting a lot from these meet ups @Wednesday. It's good to know that the facility is out there for when you move house. It'll be really useful in a new area.

I think all fashions seem to go around in circles  especially if you don't go in for anything too outlandish. I haven't worn heels for so long now I'm not sure I'll be buying any soon. I think it's partly that my lifestyle has changed over time and I do far more walking than I used to. I think the last time I wore them was last autumn when we got a taxi to a black tie do. I suppose I'm lucky because I don't need them for height. 

The Ordinary retinol is ready for me to collect at Boots so I need to pick it up and then read how to use it.  

I've decided that the cardigan and jumper I bought last week in JL will be keepers. Too warm for them at the moment but they're ready for when weather turns cooler.  To hell with the expense! 🤣

Maman - the couple I met (who are going to the effort of making me three vegan dishes Friday) are saying that they might move to the same coastal area as us. That would be great. A woman I met at the music festival on Sunday and last night on the walk also said she might move there too!

I said they are all welcome to come and visit me after we move and we can go for a picnic on the beach or something.

It really has been a tumultuous time in my life. Selling and buying a house, losing the first dog I ever rescued and then meeting all these new people. All during a global pandemic. I won't forget this time in my life.  

Lol, also Chanie or anyone is welcome to visit us too after we move. I feel like I know some of you on here.xxx

Candygirl no date yet. It hasn't been that long and I know there has been a backlog because of Covid. You are more than welcome to visit me by the sea too. As long as it all goes through okay, that is!

Hello Ladies, 

I did not end up going to Karaoke on Tuesday evening as my hips were hurting me too much, so I took some painkillers and put my feet up. My sister was not too disappointed, as she was feeling extremely tired, so she had changed her mind about going to Karaoke. We have never sang a duo before and I doubt it will ever happen, as we sing different songs.

freedom day is today as our isolation is over. Thank goodness, it’s been a long 10 days.

I got my birthday present early; this clutch bag.  It’s a combination of savings and upcoming birthday money.
i really wanted a bag that wasn’t black and green is one of my favourite colours.  The bag went out of stock so I thought I’d missed the boat, but managed to locate one, so I had to snap it up.
