Loved reading your post sugarbaby. It really felt that some resemblance of normal life was returning with you out and about doing your various activities. The poetry/creative writing scene is very strong in your area but, I know, you are really good at finding all these workshops and events. Well done on all the plaudits received for your poetry. I hope the event goes well this week.
I had a great time dancing last night. It was our first social dance since before Covid and people were so happy to be there enjoying the live band, the dancing and each other's company. 😊6 -
Wednesday so sorry to read of the loss of your dear dog, they leave such a big hole in our lives when they leave us. xThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)3

Thank you Ladies. My husband was more upset than me as he was very close to my dog. I know I made the right decision when I saw him at the vet as he had gone downhill so quickly.
I haven't done much fabbing lately as I haven't been in the mood! There is a local meetup this week but I'm not sure I'm up for that either.4 -

Hello Ladies,
Maman your dancing sounds great. The Salsa dance classes that I attended in the past did restart about 2 months ago, but I would not be comfortable doing Salsa dancing with different partners each week.
Yesterday evening I went to The Young Vic to watch Changing Destiny. I really enjoyed watching this preview of this innovative piece of theatre. It really grabbed my attention from the 1st line to the last line. I had got my e-ticket for only £5 for a ticket worth £25, so it was a real bargain night out for me.
It was not a socially distanced audience, so everyone in the audience, including crew and support staff had to wear a face mask at all times. There was only 50% capacity for the audience, so it felt very Covid safe.

Thank you ladies.xxx It is sad to lose him like that but life must go on.
I have decided to pull myself together as I think I have spent enough time indoors this past 18 months!
I am going to the meetup Friday night with the local group and I have booked a restaurant for me and my brother for Sunday in South London.
I am also meeting one of the local group to walk our dogs next week.

Well done Wednesday. I'm sure that going to the meet up will do you good. It doesn't stop you remembering your dog fondly.
It's good that theatres are starting to open up again sugarbaby. I went to one London theatre just before Christmas and an excellent outdoor Sherlock Holmes play last summer but otherwise it's something I've really missed.
In the past year we've devised a way of dancing that maintains social distance and doesn't involve touching. I know it sounds crazy but we sort of mirror each other's movements. I think it's improved our timing and general awareness as we have to be very conscious of what our partner is doing. Last Friday was the first time we touched hands but that was optional.
I'm keeping up with my fabbing. I'm going to file my nails later as they're growing a bit long and shapeless. My friend has a (postponed) party for a big birthday on Saturday. She's hoping it can be mainly held outdoors although she has some gazebos and a large garage if needed. I've not yet decided what to wear, it'll depend on the weather really. She says it's fairly informal but I might still wear a dress if the weather is good enough.5 -
Hope the meet up goes well Wednesday. The theatre sounds wonderful Sugarbaby we were talking about going to London. My 2nd GS is doing art GCSE and he is really keen on his art, sits sketching all day if you let him and he'd love to see some of the galleries in London. I'm hoping foot and covid willing I might be able to do it with him before too long.
Maman your dancing sounds good. I've been using my crystal nail file and it does seem to have made a difference, hasn't turned my weak splitting nails into dangerous weapons but definitely splitting less and looking better. I cut them very short and I've gradually let them get a bit longer and it is positive so far.
My big news of the day is I have driven to the local supermarket. It felt safe but I don't think I'd be up to a long journey but it is a start and I feel like I'm getting my life back.6
